I have no problems with running Int on Win 8.

 

Maybe it's your client fault and not the OS ? You can also try to right click on the l2.exe and set compatibility with XP or so.

Alrdy did what you said. I get the following error :

OS : Windows Vista 6.1 (Build: 7600)
CPU : GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2396 MHz with 1023MB RAM
Video : Intel® HD Graphics Family (1190)
 
General protection fault!
 
History: FL2GameData::ObsceneDataLoad <- FL2GameData::Load() <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

Edit: Found solution. Just delete obscene-e.dat in your system folder, and run l2 again.
