ericvini Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Hi, I'm trying to get a friend to connect to my server, but I guess I'm pretty darn stupid with this. He can login, but not connect to the gameserver at all. What do I need to edit to get my server open to him? The ip - WAN, in the table dbo.server in lin2db and what else? I don't see what to change in hauthd.ini or the L2server.ini I always used it locally only =/
0 mcbigmac Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 If you changed dbo.server should be fine. If you start up a hauthd with localhost\127.0.0.1 - GS will only accept localhost connections to the specified port. Another problem might be your NAT\Router blocking external connections from 7777 in firmware hardware cause it's not a standard port for any services. I'd wireshark and see if any data is coming from his ip @ that port when he clicks on server select.
