That's an incomplete topic with half of the suggestions taken with the hard way. It's also badly written

 

It can't really be explained more easily, actually its kinda reverse engineering the .u files...

 

I have worked with this on the past, you use UPT as a viewer, and you change what you need with a Hex Editor by searching into a parallel but decrypted same .u file... After editing it you crypt it back and open it with UPT again and you check if you succeeded editing what you wanted.

 

Complex and annoying job, but if you know what to search and edit, you can do miracles

Interesting point of view xdem but may i ask : what file or files do contain the skill animations ?

Somehow what you have said it makes sense but indeed its a complexe job but it can be done eventually.

So please if you know complete the answer about the file(s) name for the animation of the skills...i could proceed with some tests to try your theory up.

If i may succeed then you're the winner of the prize :)

Xdem in upt there are couple of algorithms for enc DEC & have asked similar question but no one answered so how to find out. Which enc or DEC algorithm to use in each file ? Example utx

if you open it with a hex editor the first bytes will reveal the encryption method if you translate it to string, but I doubt if you will find this info useful

yeah you are right i've never used hex editor, but my question is 

 

so guys is there someone with knowledge of the algorithms that needs to be used when u decrypt or encrypt some kind of file? with l2dencrypt.exe

 

111 algorithm  121 algorithm 211 & 212 algorithm these are the options
