so, so fricking problematic, need help!

hi, not sure if this is the correct place to post for help in this but, i need some serious help

 

i managed to install navicat etc etc, then i continued to install the database , server finaly got up and running, awesome, i download a clean hi5 client and install, then i change host to 127.0.0.1

 

alright awesome lets start the client, hmmm no l2.exe, okey ill rename the l2.bin to l2.exe, click

 

BOOM HEADSHOT, doesent work, "the application has failed to start because its side-to-side configuration is incorrect blabla"

 

alright then i download a system folder from a privat server called L2Null and replace that with mine

 

it fricking works.....why the hell does it work to start the client with l2nulls system folder and not my clean hi5 one?

 

i mean its kinda frustrating that ive got the server working 100% and i cant start the god damn client to try it out...

Your main problem is you think renaming a .rar / .jpeg / .avi / insert your . stuff to .exe will make it an application.

 

Except that, I don't see problem.

you make it sound like its no big deal, ive been trying to make this work for 2 whole days

 

ive searched for patched systems for endless of hours T_T

 

i would do anything for a link with a working l2 hi5 patch

i get a dsetup.dll error when i try to run l2.exe with this system =/

its a god damn miracle, after using anotehr dll i managed to get the client going and i was finaly able to log onto my fresh hi5 server
