Hm, I liked the original much more.

The colors feel to intense and all, it doesn't really look any better. The original had that cold metalic feel to it but with coloring it that is somewhat lost.

 

But it's cool that you try other things, I appreciate that :)

It should remain in the dark mood, looks a bit scary then. So if the first image is your work - thumbs up.

You should play with gradients and use more darken colours. Try to do something that will scare us.
