VPS server?

It is a simple question for people who have experienced it...

 

Can an L2J server  (w/about 100-300 ppl) run smoothly on a VPS server?

 

Here are some moderate specifications:

90 GB Disk Space

600 GB Monthly Bandwidth

384 MB Dedicated RAM

0.9 Ghz CPU

1 IP Address

Linux OS

 

The specifications seem ok but what I want to know is, will I be able to run the server using only command access? Or does VPS come with remote control? (ive never used it before...)

               

              Sub-question: how hard is it to launch a server on linux? ;/

with that much ram you wouldnt even load the server :D

it takes about 200k cpu of java in windows, and considering its linux it WOULD load

Its simple...Just take a better machine and learn about commads in linux because you will cant run server in linux without knowlege of that...

If you cant do it just take in vps with windows 2008 server edition and run it there BUT you will have problems with the ddos atacks...

You will need good firewall that cost much money and good donations....:D

Do not use VPS for L2Servers Lol. Use dedicated server.
