anyway, ontopic, if ur server saks hard and u buy votes, even if ppl will know about ur srv and will try it, if ur srv sux asses they won't stay, so u spent useless money

just don't buy votes if ur srv doesn't even worth playing

also i remember l2knockout, they were always on top15+ of hopzone, they sure bought the votes or got them illegally for sure, cause the population was kinda low for so many votes

now srv is dying, full unbalanced, i don't even know if they are still in the top of hopzone

Those that got to do business with me know this.

I do not see any point to why anyone would need to advertise gamesites200.

This website has been around for YEARS now and is one of leading websites in voting ladders.

Read my first post. This is exactly what I said in there.

 

Buying votes will NOT guarantee you will have a lot of players. Nor does it guarantee you will get a lot of new ones.

 

The ONLY thing it does is bring you NEW visitors. And it does this VERY well.

Look at the charts on 1st page. It's easy to read them.

1st of all its not hard to understand what i mean only when you dont want to understand it.

 

Yes it is, it is fucking awful and some times unreadable.

Voting sites when they first started out were a legitimate source of. But like everything else in the private L2 server community they have been cheated and monetized in every possible way. Personally when my server goes live I will never register my server on any of the voting sites. I may make a thread in their forums but will never register my server and will not put any of their vote buttons on my site. Will that make my server fail? Possible but I doubt it.

I realized an interesting thing today.

 

I noticed it before but didn't pay much attention.

So, here it is.

 

 

 

Whenever I vote on a popular server, let's say in the top10. I need to do 500+ votes in order to have a bigger spike in OUT clicks (when someone clicks your URL).

 

But for example when I vote on a server with almost no votes (let's say under 100 total) OUT increases DRAMATICALLY.

 

Here, an example below.

Note, I did 2 rounds of votes on this server since I'm having some problems with voter right now (updates brought some bugs which is making it stuck :/).

140 before and 100 right now.

 

So just 10minutes ago this image looked totally different.

 

Basically, from 150 votes, server got 300 clicks.

 

Easily put it. It seems that servers with no amount of votes, when voted on, will receive a HUGE spike in votes.

 

I've got ABSOLUTELY no idea to why this is happening.

What makes me WTF even more is the time. It's 10pm on Sunday right now and this server just got 300+ clicks for being on, I dunno, ~80th spot?

That's 2nd page!!

 

 

If we compare that with a #1 server, L2CR.com with 22k votes.

L2CR is getting about 700 clicks each day.

 

Comparing total votes / position / clicks out makes NO friggin' sense what so ever.

 

A server with 88x less votes!! is getting 1/2 of the clicks than a server with 88x more votes is getting.

 

 

I need to do some serious research on this.
