A guide to track Cheaters. Gamers who often hack tend forget one critical point, they can be easely spotted toggling on and off. This guide will explain in detail how to use your sight and intuition to make critical decisions when banning a cheater. In order to spot a hacker, pay attention to these ques: Generaly most of the hacker are non steamers players with pings extending over 200+ pings. Players with ratio's 2:1, 3:1 + and better with a ping over 150+ are without a doubt worth to watch and record. Generally, when someone is accusing another player of hacking, it ends up being the opposite the player actually is trying to get attention away from him being watched (if its a non regular player). Hackers mostly 80% of the time when accused of hacking toggle off their hacks. How do we spot that? well its pretty simple; usually it takes 2-3 seconds for them to turn off the hacks and can be spotted by watching them stand in one spot, pressing left or right up and down. What they are actually doing is modifying their hacks by turning its features off manually with the left,right,up and down keys. Another critical point, always watch players pings, when hacks are on a players ping increases by 10%+ and when they toggle off it decreases and becomes steady. Prefire, even though some hackers may try to hide their walls by not looking directly at another player through the wall, they tend to preaim/prefire, or they will suddenly start looking at a corner because they knew someone was popping out. Tips: By the use of amx_say or any other text commands, type in: "Warning, the system has detected a potential hacker and will be now banned" or anything in that nature. What this will do is indirectly scare off hackers and make them toggle off. They might try to download better hacks because of the fear that our servers have another anti cheat system. Ok so recently i started playing nonsteam because steam is being dumb on my computer and i use xfire with cs1.6. xfire is just like steam except u cant chat with the ppl who has steam i just wanted to share this becuz it took me some time to figure out how to make xfire work with the nonsteam cs1.6 so this is how to make cs1.6 work with xfire. 1.download xfire 2.go to tools>options 3.when a window pops out go to the tab that says "Games" 4.wait for xfire to detect what games you have 5.if they detect cs1.6 good for you if not double click on the "Not installed" 6.(this the trickier part) scroll all the way down to cs1.5, yes i didnt make a mistake click on cs1.5 not cs1.6 7. then on the top right corner you'll see counter-strike1.5 click on the arrow key and press manual dectect 8.press Browse and look for your counter-strike directory and select the hl.exe file 9.now to apply. it should look something like this 10.restart xfire and go onto ur cs1.6 press scroll lock+X and xfire should pop up ingame. btw almost forgot, to get xfire to work ingame ur cs renderer MUST be on Opengl hope y'all nonsteamers consider using xfire i know its old and stuff but its pretty good considering it has all the functions just like steam and i feel like steam lags my computer but xfire doesnt. feel free to add me on xfire my id is Romeo

I recommend making a backup to your current computer files before you follow anything here. Results may vary Basic ways to speed your computer up. Disabling Background Programs. If you are not all that crazy about how graphic your computer is, a simple way of improving speed is by disabling them. 1. Go to your startmenu to the bottom right hand corner. 2. Right click on my computer. 3. Look for advanced system settings. 4. Go the "Advanced tab". 5. Click on settings under the performance area. 6. Go to the "Visual Effects" tab 7. And check off the option that says "Adjust for best performance" Disabling System Restore By disabling system restore reduces memory usage from system restore. It also speeds up the installation of programs by avoiding creating a system restore check point. 1. Go to your startmenu to the bottom right hand corner. 2. Right click on my computer. 3. Look for advanced system settings. 4. Go to the "System Protection" tab. 5. Where it displays avaliable drives click on one. 6. Click "Configure" 7. In the menu that pops up, look for an option that says, "Turn off system protection" and click it. 8. Repeat steps 5-7 if you have more than 1 drive. If you want to delete the system restore stuff on the same menu go to the bottom right hand corner and check delete. Deleting Junk Files and Temporary Files By deleteing junk files it provides more space for you to work with and prevent probably perfomance degrade. 1. Go to my computer. 2. Defrag your computer By defragging your computer, you increase access times of your computer. 1. Go to my computer. 2. Right click your C: Drive and click properties. 3. Click on the general tools tab. 4. Under defraggmentation click on defrag now. Change Power Plan By changing your power plan you can change the power consumption of your computer. By changing you power plan to high performance improves the responsiveness and the speed at which your overall computer runs, vice versa if it's changed to power saver. By default your computer is on balanced. Note: This setting might be limited to windows vista and windows 7. 1. Go to the startmenu. 2. Click on control panel. 3. Click power options. 4. If you cannot see high performance, click show additional plans, if not go to step 5. 5. Click on high performance. Even people who share the same o.s might work it and you can't. But for those who want a crack at it. 1. Open regedit, go to the start menu and type regedit. 2. Go to the following directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ 3. Create the registry, right click and click dword. 4. Name the registry as follows TcpAckFrequency (It is case sensitive) 5. Make it 1 "Specifies the number of ACKs that will be outstanding before the delayed ACK timer is ignored. Windows 7 lag spikes As you are playing in server's you may noticed that their are lag spikes here and there, your computer and it's whole being is problemless, why am i experiencing these spikes. When I first bought my new computer with win7 i noticed these problems after searching around i found a solution after stumbling upon a website. This website explained the causes of these possible lags and solved my problems. Note: Back up your registry, and my os is win7 64 1. Go to the startmenu, type regedit 2. Go to the following directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Audiosrv 3. Find a key that says depend on service. And delete the registry. What that does is when you normally disable mmcs from services depending services stop, one of them is audio. By deleting the depend on service for audio you can then safely disable mmcs. 4. Reboot your computer. 5. Type services in the start menu. 6. Find multimedia class scheduler, right click it then click properties. 7. Disable the service, if the service is running, stop it. First I wanna show my results This is some impressive shit right here 488.2fps I should tell you that this number is not constant. As u r playing it changes. this is the highest I could get. Now I wanna make it clear, this is gonna work with Nvidia Graphic cards, no Radeon. I also wanna mention this at the beginning it may or may not work on your PC. There is only one way to find out really... TRY it ! I've Vista, so here is what I did step by step. Right Click desktop, Personalize, Display Settings,Advanced Settings, Your video card's name, Start the Nvidia Control Panel Manage 3D Settings, Program Settings where in the scroll u should find installed hl or cs. If it's not there click add and go to the folder where your CS is installed and choose the exe file (in my case it is hl.exe) Turn off Antisotropic filtering and Antialising mode. Turn off Texture Filtering and Vertical Sync. Click Apply and u r ready to go. Start CS Enter our server, open Console and type these commands: fps_max (any number up to 500) cl_cmdrate 101 cl_updaterate 101 net_graph 4 developer 1 Now you are ready to go !
