i understand what you mean and im sure copyrights(©) still apply.. but im talking about the actual registration of the product, like the name ncsoft or lineage2(®).. and since they would never need it for marketing purposes or w/e.. it makes no sense to register server side (assuming files dont get leaked.. and we both agree they wouldnt get hacked).

i dont think you understood my post at all... all i was trying to say is that server isnt registered and therefore.. running l2off server isnt illegal, however client mods are. also... why would anyone need to hack them, when they leak files anyway? and if i wanted to hide my ip... they wouldnt find my real one in a million of years, since no matter what kind of machines they have, they still dont have warrants to get logs from all the bncs id use... not that it would help with hacking anything =P

kids is exactly what ppl like that are.. kinda reminds me of dragonhunter lol.. they just learn how to code, so its exciting and l2j goes down so easy.... im just surprised so many nab admins actually run it.. also, they didnt hack anything.. =P well tell your friend that.. if they want to actually own the rights for server, they should also register it rofl.. anyway.. its not logical to pay for that, since they already registered client and its just assumed server files arent available for dl.. therefore cant be stolen? =P

tbh.. in all seriousness lol, i think nc can be happy we run privates or l2 wouldnt be as nearly popular as it is today. also... servers are all legal, no matter if l2j or off.

and how is the l2j emulator illegal? even off server packs arent protected... only client is so lol? but anyways... i doubt this is caused by dos.. since l2 can be lagged so much easyer, just by 1 user spaming meaningful packets.. and i bet you could log the attacking ips and block 1 by 1 easyer than make a new overall flood protection for potential l2 packets.. or whatever lol, just serves nab admins right.. for not knowing enough to run servers.

tbh.. most of the time im surprised, why there arent more DragonHunter wannabes out there... its so simple to crash lol.. and yet this seems to stand out like some l33t group. >.>

not like you need em anyway.. you can get same tools freeware, which are better anyways lol.. he just likes the attention.. its that phase, when kids start to learn simple programing and then become wannabe hackers.
