I see you use interlude well my only suggestion since we do things for the better not for the worse...is to implement a core buffer.

I really need to say im surprised and the reason for that is retail is so close to custom. Most ppl have the feeling that ppl need only custom stuff and nobody really cares about retail...really nice result so far.

ddos protection never depends on the company itself. it depends on your budget and on your skills as far as operating systems and networking goes.

The reason why people do it is this: Dragonhunter type of kids: "My server is a failure but its not my fault its a fault of l2j so i attack every l2j server because it sucks and im pro". Serk type of kids: "I cant do any atleast decent server so i need to kill every server i can to get players". The rest just do it because they are bored.

The biggest issue people usually have with guides are the guides are not for eclipse and l2j but in general for java and they cant understand that l2j is java and its not a different thing. Once you can understand that you can start to learn easily.

If your pack would be optimized properly you could reach 100 player with your current hardware.

to compile interlude you either switch the whole thing to ant or you rework the repository handling of it to the new version no other way.

Why its useless? Many people dont know how to administrate a server in my opinion and many server have huge lagg spikes also.

Not exactly the performance part is in the very basics of a pack its not like okay i share something and i need to optimize it as much as possible so it will be great thats a point too but the big things are inside the alredy done basics that only a few people touch.

No thats not the case atleast with an example like that but with 150-200 player yes you can have small spikes.

Its not about how much ram you can have or how strong cpu can afford. Its about laggless smooth gameplay which doesnt matter how strong the pc is can happen only if you have a good pack.

Well it depends on the effect if its like okay i did work a week on reducing a footprint from 330 to 325mb than its useless indeed, but if i say ok i reduced the footprint from 330mb to 290mb and meanwhile i reduced the network and cpu usage also?
