Discussion [Preview] Moba Event In Interlude
Intrepid replied to An4rchy's topic in Server Development Discussion [L2J]
1st decent idea i have seen since years. Just a few things off the top of my head tho. - Forget the fix map version let it have a lineage feel and have the event happen in areas that are known as tipical lineage places. - Have only 1 type of creep but with a wave load setup like every consecutive wave would be different amount of creeps or the same amount of creeps with different stats. - Have objectives but base those objectives to revolve more around lineage than league, like an on the hunt version in l2 but instead of rengar <-> khazix you would have elf <-> dark elf - Dont use the turret system because its completely off when it comes to lineage, instead use bosses that dont move but still use all their abilities. - As far as scheduling goes, dont make the mistake of making it happen in fixed hours or beeing on demand. These things are ideas that are sooo boring and never ever worked to begin with. Instead implement it as an addition to a current system so that you take adventage of the event without having balance issues happen. Add it as a part of clan wars for example or even can create a team olympiad system. -

Its not about disrespecting their work, its about them using the community to keep the thing alive. 95% of the commits they do(moreso with git) are user contributions and when someone does something that truly needs to be done they ignore it. L2JFree pretty much maxed out on performance and developer friendly coding, l2j did not even attempted to do that because l2jfree is evil and my gosh how would it look like that the almighty l2j synched something. For example they implemented a bunch of useless interfaces scattered all over the core and scripts which makes the pack near impoosible to effectively code in, instead of just saying okay lets put out ego behind for a sec and sync some useful things like l2jfree global restriction. But another much more crucial example is the mmocore, the l2j mmocore is so old and outdated its not even funny(further more badly done), and what they do? Nothing. Bigboss made a new mmocore for them and shared it in july, since than even tho they have the resources and time none of them even attempted to improve and fix whatever needs to be done in it and implement it, not to mention nb4l1 wrote an mmocore from scratch with a whole new networking behind it like years ago which they could easily sync but they wont because its from l2jfree. I could go on with stuff like that for ages but the whole point of it is that l2j wont be a serious project until they recognize their own mistakes and acknowledge that there are people out there whos stuff is beyond what l2j have at this point. -
Hey :D Well i got bored came back to look around a bit, but as usual a smart one finds me to get an e-war for himself. Dunno why, but i still feel like its a status symbol to have a war with me. :D By the way they are alive, using git, working on geo driver and abstraction layer so its in okay shape as of now :D

[Report] Mcbigmac Intentional Netfight Searching
Intrepid replied to Intrepid's topic in Report Section
1. You insult my english reading while you ignore the whole point of the topic. 2. You insulted l2j as a platform and insulted the work of others by that because on your part theres no debate. 3. If i insult you trust me its nothing like that, i mentioned maxtor because you are a personal promotion of hes thats why i know nothing will happen. -
[Report] Mcbigmac Intentional Netfight Searching
Intrepid replied to Intrepid's topic in Report Section
Question of topic was about l2j, you are supposedly an l2off dev so it doesnt concern you yet you act like you know better. You havent even answered the quesion i made yet you called me an idiot who developed nothing and you downtalk and downlook people who have spent years and years making l2j or any of its forks in the way they want to. You show up nothing yet you call others clueless when they ask you to answer the question that is the main reason of the topic, which you ignore instead you just try to force your opinion on other people. Heres the funny part sure i had some battles around here with most of the people, but when i had something to say i had things to back up what i say which means that atleast i can look in the mirror and tell myself okay i "lost" an argument if that was the case trying my best at what i do. You on the other hand still act like a smartass, show nothing, have nothing to back up what you say and yet still you call others clueless and you downtalk years of work in a really disrespectful way. L2j always had issues with people saying this and this is just bad thats true, but NOBODY and i mean NOBODY had so much skin to say that l2j itself as a server platform is such a thing as you describe it, thats a thing called respect. If someone insults l2off and tells you reasons and proves it, all you do is attack back on l2j instead of saying okay you are right or saying something against it so a discussion can be done. Anyhow im pretty much tired of you for today especially because its christmas time and i dont want to ruin my mood by explaining to you things that you obviously dont know and never will, like respect or how to have a healthy discussion with someone whos got another view on a subject. -
http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/187059-wth-no-l2jdevs-left-around-here/ I understand hes a personal promotion as always with l2off developers, but atleast look at hes posts(i did), not just my topic where he turns a simple question which doesnt involve him in any way since it was a question about l2j and the small community that was here involved in l2j. Intentionally downtalking, personally insulting the work of other people with no real argument but for the sake of showing "whos boss" atleast in hes mind. I dont sleep better nor care if any sort of punishment will be done either way tho its a higher chance knowning such people from past experience that the one to receive it would be me but i dont really sweat it.

Again you downtalk l2j in favour of l2off, l2j is now ertheia without downloading some russian source as you fake developers do it. The reason l2j do what it does is the same reason why back than l2jfree did what it did. Its the the time in which you get to a point but its the way you get there thats important since you will get there eventually. And please, leave this topic for once just leave.

The negativity is from you, you are acting like a smartass searching for a fight or for some kind of positive confirmation that you are something good. You still doesnt talk about what i asked, you came here to trash l2j yet you guys fail miserably when it comes to any sort of development. Theres an old saying put up or shut up, The guys whos work you trash so hard have made so many things you couldnt dream doing not even a single 1 of those, you on the other hand do nothing and capable of nothing because all you do is download some supposed leak files from some russian source and use it to a self proclaimed developer status. I dont feel neither defensive nor negative, the funny part is you say i havent done much well may be so but that confirms you want a personal conflict because you involve me in a question i havent included myself. I understand that thats the spam section but please with the theory of yours go talk to some of the oldschool developers who in your opinion havent done much like nb4l1,lordrex or even the ex inner circle of l2j. You will notice you can get yourself lectured in a matter of minutes about things you cant even start a conversation about to begin with. I may havent done much as far as l2j goes which i doubt in many ways but thats your opinion, but you got promoted personally by maxtor with no work done for the community in the form of anything, you watched maxtor fail many many times with hes l2off servers while you claim to be an l2off developer and yet you act like l2j is the devil and you are the 1 who will save humanity from it and enlighten the masses. And as a last response to you because i dont bother responding to people like yourself searching for netfights over a childish subject, l2j always had a hierarchy in development and that hierarchy always follows the basic structure of svn and now git which you obviously dont know about. You have a trunk or master folder which is the always unstable fresh code that gets developed over time, you have the branches or releases that have been tested for a long time under a single revision number and have been fixed to run as stable as possible. Now in order to get a changeset commited into the trunk you have to consult with the developers of the respective area or even the inner circle in some case to get the code up for a standard they use even in code formatting or even in the form of patterns they use for simplicity. That logically makes your argument pretty much screwed in every way. Ohh and sure people want rewards for the invested time in anything, but what reward you ask for when your invested time is google search, get to a russian source lick ass, download something and sell it. I would spit myself in the face if i would do such a thing. Now go ahead and go cry out some sort of punishment for me, because i said bad things about you but if you do atleast talk about the question that has been made.

I'll be brutally honest with you now. You are repetative and dont take this offensively by any means but you so called l2off professionals repeat the same old things over and over again like some sort of higher power. You guys have no actual knowledge about the amount of years a software has been developed by how many people. You guys take a leak doesnt change a thing other than just really small stuff and small additions, l2j developers spend countless hours on creating something from scratch the best way they can to challange themselfs to be better or to try and implement new things. L2off developers tho i wouldnt even call anyone like that are just people who maintain a stolen resource, l2jdevelopers are people who create a maintainable resource by anyone who pleases to use it. Now on that note i finish telling this for the millionth time in the past 6 years or so, please dont comment on anything related to l2j or even l2off since none of the people who claims to be an l2off developer are actual developers(thats why no matter how many times maxtor wants an l2off server its never going to work). By the way that was not my question so you basically just came here to downtalk l2j developers once again.
-
Wait wait wait, 95% of the people who were l2jdev here ever since the older ones(seth, vagos, rizel, myself) stopped couldnt even create a code bigger than 1 class. Dont tell me these people are actual android developers or whatever else they do right now. I was asking that because l2j started erhteia and i thought people are actually doing something with it.
-
Where all the l2jdevs went? Or its just natural selection of the community? :D

Intrepid replied to UnAfraid's topic in Server Development Discussion [L2J]
Nice to see that just when i think about getting back to lineage again. A question tho, the interface implementations(aka bad copy of l2jfree global restriction) are they easy to remove or its scattered around so much that it takes a long while to get rid of them? -
-
Come on i still have my army of pink dildos and my signature is fabolous...not like you said anything new :DDD

All trolling aside critical error is useless in a sense that all the shares hes got on mxc were shared ages before him, hes just copy pasting changing the credit and gets the minimal amount of knowledge that comes with it. Avve i wanted to troll you so hard now tbh, but your a good guy from the old days so lets just say for the 1st time since im on mxc i leave trolling for others. :D BTW just like the old whos the best l2j developer polls, this is stupid also :D

EN An Important Question To You Guys About Boobs
Intrepid replied to lord_rex's topic in Spam Topics
Small tight boobs all the way. Take into consideration that 90% of the people who want a tattoo or alredy have one, wanted it based on current trend like maori nowdays or similar to that(tho i rarely see a true maori). Also its not about the amount of tattoos its about the meaning behind them and the feeling that you wear the with pride not to be a fake that says ohh look girls my tattoos im so badass. :) -

Ever heard about svn or git? :DDD Ohh thats nice to hear than heres a quick list from the top of my head. Packet clouding to a finished networking behind l2j, a multithreaded mmocore, a fully optimized and configurable bonecp based db management, an optimized well written script enginge with annotation instead of script.cfg for loading, a decent logger, user friendly code with proper java docs(aka well formatted and named following the same strict pattern all around the pack), l2off similar npc management(no npc types only 1 npc type and multiple AIs attached to each npc to control the behaviour), separated login, gameserver, mmocore and a "parent project" that contains all the utility to handle all 3. So far thats what comes to mind, ohh and i dont mind a persistence api implementation. -

Nobody can proove something like that in the current ruleset, partially why mxc is bad as it is. If my suggestion would have been implemented ages ago we would know if hes a scammer or not even before hes sales topic so no, with that amount of information he basically scams people with giving no updates so no support because theres not a single pack thats "done". -

How the hell someone can steal your work via teamviewer when you are actually watching lol pretending to be a developer over 9000. also from your sales topic: - Server Packs (Ready server packs of any chronicle with your rates and features) -

Heres the thing, from that conversation its clear to me that you sell someone elses work. Now i dont think based on your topic where you say you have a pack worth of 100€ for every chronicle, that you are actually so skilled that you made a stable release out of everything which noone has ever been able to do in the history of l2j development including russians. The sad part about it is that even tho you dont scam people in the popular way of getting the money and providing nothing in return, you scam them by selling something you give no updates and proper support to. Lets say i want to buy your pack heres what i would ask for.: 1. Quick look into the source code via teamviewer since even the layout of a pack can tell from where its stolen(because im sure it is). 2. A test server run on your pc where i can log in to the pack with a gm char. 3. Every log from the startup of that test server till the moment i log out. 4. Full changelog. If you can provide these and you give either a weekly or just a regular patch or an svn access to it than you can say you provide support for it. I tell you this because back in the days i sold my pack the exact same one, me neither scammed anyone but if you say you give support for it than freekin do it.
