as far as I know, the attack animation continues but the target receives no damage once he's inside.

l2reloaded/kastien. you could donate for almost anything. then they shutdown for a while and claim they are going to wipe. then they reopen for a few weeks just to grab people's money before shutting down again.

5000 is the max range you can target someone I think, but if you want further go for it. Also as has been mentioned you won't see the names if the characters are out of range of loading.
