  1. Well, it wasn't the best idea but at least it's an example of how to use this packet  Anyway, I'm currently using it to extend the quest engine of my own server pack and it becomes very interesting :)
  2. Import also the Config class..
  3. What you mean by system file? data/scripts/quests/255_Tutorial/
  4. java/com/l2jserver/gameserver/network/clientpackets/CharacterCreate.java Or you can simply comment the tutorial in Scripts.cfg
  5. In the CharacterCreate packet
  6. You don't want the tutorial?
  7. Something like this.. activeChar.sendPacket(new ExShowScreenMessage("You have " + Config.ENCHANT_CHANCE_WEAPON + "% chance of success!", 6000)); Also put a check for the enchant type.. note that if you have different chances for armor and jewels, you should send the chances of the two types, because it doesn't recognize what you want to enchant :)
  8. The door hp is a packet that already exists
  9. I was wrong about the RequestEnchantItem  You should send the ExShowScreenMessage with the EnchantScrolls handler which you can find in \data\scripts\handlers\itemhandlers
  10. http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/187051-l2j-ngu/
  11. Ask them http://lameguard.com/index_en.html These are the people selling this bullshit
  12. It could be done if victim's phone have gps.. so someone can write an application that sends the current location to another application that works with a map. You know that the price will be very expensive.. Google Latitude was something that triangulates the mobile signal to real position, but it was retired in 2013.
  13. Try with 8, all other packs uses it for master access
  14. 900€ for DDoS protection instead of OVH's all in one on lower price?
  15. I'm not sure if they have such resource to track someone's girlfriend
  16. I don't know about that.. it's much easier to create additional game cp for registered users. I've never tried your method.
  17. What exactly "dont support external logins that out from database" means.. it is protected by Zend Guard or something? You should use db connection to the server along with the connection to vBullet's db, and you should encrypt the passwords for l2j using the proper algorithm, because there is a difference.
  18. Yes, it checks if siege is in progress, if it's a castle zone and if the pcinstance is a clan leader registered in the attack list... in GvE the first check was removed, the second and third was modified :)
  19. 1) You can use your own pc for testing purposes and building.. you will need a static ip when your server goes to production. 2) aCis doesn't provide timeline (and diff patches for free), so you can keep your customs in a diff patches to apply them when you get the newest revision. l2jfrozen provides a timeline, and you can apply the latest changes to your source. When you made some changes to your server, you should only replace the affected files (or .jar file)... there is no need to set up again the server.
  20. It's not a good idea, because everybody will know your account name in-game.. many people uses their account name as a password. The best option is to create an extension for vBulletin that allows the users to register their in-game accounts via simple interface.. it's very flexible option! :)
  21. How you want to use it? Also, why you don't have the engrave method?
  22. Downgrade H5 from L2JServer.. it's the best option
  23. I'm learning by downgrading L2JServer's H5 version to Interlude
  24. Well, I don't have any solid knowledge about L2J, I don't even know Java... but I know the programming fundamentals and that helps me a lot to learn any language I want. So, if you know the basics, you can easy learn L2J by exploring the source... because as I see, it's pretty basic!
  25. Well, they have actually
