Oh trust me I do get it, but things I said are the fact... There will not be lots of players willing to join Low rate with 100 online for some reasons: 1. If it is up for a long time already, there will be some people with actually pretty nice gear which they have been farming for months, and other will not want to spend months to get those people, so they will look for something fresh to join 2. What can you do on 100 online server apart from solo farming, and grinding, and farming and grinding? 3. No enemies at pvp.. There just is not enough players to pvp with 4. No enemies at olympiad...

That's why I am not even joining it, I have been waiting over 1 month for it, but as long as it has 50-100 online, I wont grow up, and will definitely close in few months MAX....

But people are not really keen on joining servers with 50-100 online, when there are like 1-2 clans (that actually do something), where you have to farm everything by yourself because the market is empty and there are like no-players that actually need the same stuff you do. That's the problem - I bet that 90% of people would prefer to play on 10k online server with "kids" and actually have some pvps etc., then play on 100 online server with "moderate community"...

I am not botting, or using any 3rd programs and it says "your protocol version is different" dat l2dream protection.

But the online is not encouraging. What people expect from servers nowadays are: pretty nice server rates, as low number of bugs as possible, nice gameplay, and BIG COMUNITY, why do you think Stalone's servers are so successfull? Because of good files and nice staff? Nah, it's quite of a bugland, corrupted as f@ck, but it has the BIG COMMUNITY, there is no other private server like Tales right now... People know Tales is corrupted and stuff, but what counts in L2World right now is the competition, and that's what the big community provides. To make it clear - I don't play Stalone's servers, never did, and never will (never say never, blah blah), so it is not advertising or something, just the truth.

Help Some Beginner's Questions.

Well, let's start then... :) I would like to start developing it for myself, learn all the basics by setting up a server on my own home pc, just to get around with the things etc. The chronicle I am interested in is Hi5, but I am not really sure where to get all those Hi5 files from, ( I don't want to use links of other websites here), so is there any good source apart from l2js....com ? Should I use the one from one of the mxc topics (which is updated almost everyday)? Mega newb question below!! :okey: When I open the links from that mxc topic all I get is white screen with some sentences in blue (I can click on them, and open them - but I have no freaking idea how to download them or what am I supposed to do with them - [those links to be clear])... Offtop: In advance: Yes, I have read the guide "how to set up your own L2 server", I have seen all the videos about "how to compile" etc., I just cannot download the files, and yes once more - there are people who have been playing L2 for many many years and still know nothing about developing, so it may seem quite impossible for such a person to be a newb in developing etc., but unfortunately I have never tried it before - and now I think it's about the time, and please keep in mind - everyone started from zero :unsure: -
Hello, Lately I have got interested in some l2 developing and all the stuff connected with it. I have been reading all the guides about setting your own L2server, watching the tutorials etc., but I still have many problems, unfortunately with some of the most basic things. :-\ :-[ I have been playing L2 for ~7 years so I have quite a big experience and do know something about L2, but it's my first attempt into developing, and so far - I'm not doing as good as I expected. I don't want to posta topic after topic with some very basic questions, so I am kindly asking if there is any person who could help me a little bit, and answer my newbie questions through the PM system or contact via skype or any other communicator, I would be really grateful! Thank you in advance :)

All I like about the server is no-dualbox (outside town) allowed, and the buffer - not too many buffs (so we won't have starwars there). BUT, I'm 100% sure that you can abuse those dualbox protections, and log even 5+boxes - just by using WTFast for example...

Yep. This is another Stalone's server btw. Go and check the server. Rates has been changed to x15, dropx10 -> same as on Tales, donate list is same as it is on Tales. Same mob stats as on Tales, the whole system is from Tales, lawl.... Just go and check their forum, most of the threads are about server being another Stalone's serv :D

Big spam about nonsense? LOL :D Check ur forum mate, there are some topics about that ubr lags/delays/freezes. And the restart is supposed to change that sh1tty announcments you made there, 10 lines of announcments every 30 sec :D. You were the one spamming chat bro. And there is a quote from one of the topics at ur forum: ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Can you start use some brain? Turn off that announcement every 1 minute. Jezus. We are not blind and we can read it, but now, 10 diferent announcement every minute. Its a flood guys. Next thing is lagg. Ppls qq about that lagg and we got an answer from staff: Lag cos of ddos attacks. few min later: I dont have lagg, other gms too, so problem with your conection guys (half server?). Later: We need restart to fix these lagg problems BUT WE WILL DO THAT AT NIGHT. Stop kidding and do damt restart. Imposible to play with these delay/laggs. If you dont have it, fine good for you. But half server qq about it and you dont really care. thats really nice in 1st day of server start. Good start ~~~~~~~~~~ trust me I'm an expert :)

DELAYS, DELAYS, LAG SPIKES, FREEZES. Tons of players crying about delay, GM keeps on saying it's fine, then he closes Trade chat due to massive spam about laggs/delay. OWNED :D

There is no way to be +300, when there are ~6ppl fighting at oly everyday xD, and most of the classes have 0-1 enemies at oly. COOL STORY

~300 without offline shops on average. On weekdays ~ I would say it gets over 400. But it's almost not being advertised by GM, (no idea why), so the players decided to do the work and gather some folks!

You will not regret that! Just saying that L2 GoD chronicle is pretty amazing. Nice skills/animations many many new zones/classes/skills/weapons/sets! I said I will never play it, but after 1 week playing here, I think I will stay here for a couple of months (Depending on the servers population) I'm hoping it will hit ~1000 withing 2-3 moths
