I didn't really study the packet encryption as I never plan to play there ever again anyway. An easy way to tell is to see if packets vary by blocks of 8 bytes. If so, that's probably blowfish or another block cipher. If not, it's probably some per-byte modification. I don't think they'd go for a block cipher tho, because that would mean all packets have to be padded to a multiple of 8 + 2(packet header), which would be more overhead on their connection
