It's not SL2.exe that connects to 14977 it's the code embedded in L2.exe, and the token isn't patched, it's extra encryption over blowfish I believe SL2 is unrelated.

Winex is cedega's old name. Cedega basically raped wine's open source license and is getting money out of it VMWare's 3d accel is EXPERIMENTAL which means your guest OS and/or host OS *will* crash like mad, this isn't a good idea but basically, both wine and cedega will run L2 but only if you patch it to disable gameguard. Gameguard is the only problem you can't easily play L2 on other OSes on retail

no that's unrelated, the client sends data on the http port they don't detect on purpose it's because they look for window titles if you open their l2.exe with this page open it'll get shut because the window title contains L2Walker

yes, sl2 does something on http port (vote bot lol?) but as I said you can start l2.exe without any problem

that's not walker that's the verify server emulator and that error is due to you probably having another instance of l2asrv running, or another emulator such as needle's patcher or wp504

Supreme's l2.exe does work on its own without sl2.exe running.
