Not exactly. If the table is completely empty, obviously there's nothing to UPDATE.

You are missing INSERT statement. Your save() method is incorrect. You can do it with 2 ways, either way is fine (save() method): 1) First DELETE the entire table and then INSERT the votes. 2) Make a boolean on load() to see if votes exist or not**. If boolean is false, use INSERT statement, if boolean is true, use UPDATE statement. Also that id field is completely unnecessary. ** You can do that, by going to load() method and add the boolean to this line: while (rset.next()) { _votesRegistered = true; votes = rset.getInt("vote"); } Also change while (rset.next()) to if (rset.next()), a loop there is also not necessary.

If they are using latest version of lameguard, not even zRanger works (private Russian bot). So.. i find it rather hard, except if you find someone to exploit it for you (i'm pretty sure each copy of lameguard, requires a different crack).

No worries, i perfectly understand and i'm pretty sure almost everyone else. We are not Interlude players :D I understand the need to see everything from a player perspective, but don't do the same mistakes as L2Pride.. Admin owning everyone, GMs with their alts as well, corruption fucked up L2Pride even more than its 5 year economy. Seriously. GMs going around with +14-15 epics with Lvl 9 attribute, while players can go max lvl 7 is pretty bad.. also some OP donations, example is Light or whatever his name was. Donated +15 epic and +12 dread armor/weapon, NOBODY else in the server had/has this kind of items. You couldn't even view his inventory at region (community board) back in the day. That's why me and many others quit this server, please try not to do the same, no matter how tempting it might be. Your plan nevertheless is solid, fixing everything and adjusting balance should be TOP priority instead of adding new stuff, server already has a lot. That's my 2 cents, i'm really excited about L2Nexus, so are my friends, we want to see something unique and we totally respect the time and energy you've put into this. Minimize the mistakes at start and you'll have more than 1k players.

It's only logical such server would attract serious people. I'm excited myself, haven't seen something like that since Pride :)

That seems like a really good idea, considering you can find a really powerful machine that can handle around 1000+ players with only 50-70 euro per month. I believe 2 people can easily acquire that amount of money :) Btw i suggest OVH because it's the cheapest DDoS solution and hopefully you won't be targeted for big attack.

dragonara is really good but too expensive for what they provide. Best solution nowadays is ddos-guard. They can handle around 150Gbps of attack with only 400$.

Πως το έβγαλες αυτό το συμπέρασμα; Εγώ πχ γι'αυτό γύρισα, γουστάρω πολύ ipb φάση.

Καταρχάς λες ότι είσαι 2 χρόνια εδώ μέσα....... και θυμάσαι τι γινόταν το 2009; Τρελό ability :D Φίλε και παλιά υπήρχαν οι trollerman, τώρα ίσως είναι περισσότεροι μιας και έχει γίνει μόδα και φυσικά συμφωνώ μαζί σου, το να προσβάλλεις οποιονδήποτε άγνωστο πίσω από ένα pc είναι ανόητο από μόνο του. Θυμάμαι κι εγώ όταν είχα πρωτομπεί στο forum υπήρχε ένα συγκεκριμένο gold member που ούτε το όνομά του δεν θυμάμαι μετά από τόσα χρόνια, που σε ένα τόπικ μου το έπαιζε αλανάκος. Ακόμα και σήμερα η συμπεριφορά του συγκεκριμένου μου έχει μείνει στη μνήμη κι όχι επειδή με έθιξε, αλλά μου είχε φανεί πολύ περίεργο που ένα member του staff το έπαιζε έξυπνος σε άτομο με ούτε 50 post. Maxtor δεν υπήρχε ποτέ.. ακόμα κι εδώ όταν ήταν δεν έκανε σχεδόν τίποτα και μετά έφυγε για στρατό. Απλά τότε υπήρχαν οι γνωστοί banhammers που δε μασούσαν και πολύ και φυσικά το karma είχε κάποια αξία. Δυστυχώς από όταν έφυγαν αυτοί οι κάποιοι και ο maxtor έδωσε δικαιώματα για karma στους donators όλα άρχισαν να παίρνουν την κάτω φόρα και φυσικά τα L2 cheats πέθαναν άρα και το maxcheaters. Όπως καταλαβαίνεις πολύ πιο δύσκολα να πέσει κάποιο ban στις μέρες μας, αφού το forum έχει ελάχιστο activity.

Ψάξου λίγο προτού κάνεις topic, ένα πρόβλημα που το έλυσες μόνος σου θα σου μείνει τυπωμένο στο μυαλό, σε αντίθεση με μια έτοιμη απάντηση. Στο λέω αυτό διότι σου έχουμε ήδη απαντήσει αρκετές φορές σε ψιλοεύκολα προβληματάκια. Στην προκειμένη περίπτωση, απλά βάλε τις μεταβλητές πιο πάνω στην κλάση σου.

You can start by reading online tutorials, seeing parts of code and trying to figure out what they are doing. Start from basic stuff, in the most cases google is your friend, you can always search for e-books but that's really time consuming and from my experience, reading tutorials and figuring out what a simple code does is much more efficient. Learn how variables work at start, see the difference between private/public/protected and where each method (void/boolean/etc) should be used and of course what they return. Just remember, learning a language, especially if it's your first won't be an easy task. Don't try to do miracles from the first day, start from the really basic things, such as "Hello World", etc. You can always see a simple function in game and then go to it's java part, see how it works, that way you WILL remember it the next time you face something similar. There's a difficult road ahead, just be patient and you'll be rewarded.
