Why would you care if it is Trinity or not. They are not seeking for Developers. Adding to what i've said at the moment with all the developers out there (including me) trying to equate ArcEMU with MangOS and Trinity you shall see no real difference. I could probably send you my Arcemu repack and compare it with the latest Trinity. You will se no difference.

How to add custom titles to your server I'm in a good mood today so I'm going to share another guide on how to add custom titles to your server. It is one of the easiest procedures ever so... here we go. Basic stuff needed: DBcutil. This one Convers DBC files to CSV. Microsoft Excel MPQ Editor (Download the 32-bit version. Not going to get in to it, but just do it. Lulz. Chapter 1: Find your chartitles.dbc Chapter 2: I don't have a @%#^@# title for this one. What you have to do now is to create a folder at your dekstop and name it as you want (i.e DBFileEdit). Drop the Chartitles.dbc file in there as well as the DBCutil. Execute the DBCutil and it will automatically convert the DBC file in to a CSV one. Once you open the CSV file you should see something like that: Chapter 3: Title creation and Important Info. Go to the end of this list and add you own title like this: Let me explain (1) and (2) now. (1) is the number of the title compared to the total. You will HAVE to right this number otherwise your title will not be recognised. For example if you charlist.dbc file has 177 titles, you will have to write 178 in this first column. (2) As you can see there is a %s. The meaning of that is where your title goes. If you have %s before the title then you will have your name first and then the title (i.e Dreamless Devium Master). If you have it after the title, then you will have your name after the title (i.e Devium Master Dreamless). Chapter 4: Now what? After you are done with this procedure save this and close it. Now execute DBcutil once again in order to create a DBC file. After that you will have to create a patch for that. Open your MPQ Editor, name the file something like patch-10 and then make a new folder inside it named DBFilesClient. After that add your modified DBC file in there and close it. Chapter 5: Define and Add it. What you will have to do now is to define it. In ArcEMU is really easy to define it. Go to your ArcEMU World Folder and find player.h just put PVPTITLE_NAMEOFYOURTITLE =NEXTNUMBER In Trinity and Mangos look for the player.h on game/server and you should do it like #define PLAYER_TITLE_NAMEOFYOURTITLE UI64LIT0X0010000000000000 // 143 Save it and close it. Compile your core and then start your world servers. IF you have done everything right test the title with command char settitle. Credits: Dreamless Thats all folks. Hope you like it :)

MAKE YOUR TRINITY SERVER PUBLIC [GUIDE] Lurking around here i saw that most of the topics are either outdate or toooo old (pitty...) so I decided to make a guide on how to make your server online You will actually going to need 4 things. Open Your ports Get a DNS Change the Hosts file Change the realmlist Chapter 1: Open Your Ports Keep in mind that the procedure to open your ports are different for every router. Go to this website http://portforward.com/ Follow the guide to open the following ports 80 - Default port for Apache servers. 3306 - Default port for MySQL servers. 3443 - Default port for remote access. 7878 - Default port for SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). 3724 - Mandatory Realmlist port. 8085 - Mandatory World Server port. You can check if your ports are open using the aboce website. Chapter 2: Get A DNS The reason you want a DNS is that you need a realmlist (DUUUUH!). For example if I have a server called Dreamless Gaming my realmlist would be something like logon.Dreamless-Gaming.com. In order to get a Realmlist like the previous one you need to have a domain (DUUUH once again). Although you can use free sites that do that things i.e [url=http://dyn.com/dns/]DYNDNS. You also need to know your IP Adress which can easily be found at http://www.whatismyip.com/ . Chapter 3: Change the hosts file There are some stuff that need to be explained over here but i don't feel like getting in to them mainly because this guide is for beginners and not for intermediate users so... to the point! Go to C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc, open the hosts file (Use Notedpad) and edit it just like that # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself. # 127.0.0.1 localhost # myexternalipadress mydyndns P.S External Ip address is the one that you found using http://www.whatismyip.com Chapter 4: Change the mother@%#^*$^# Realmlist I believe this one is the thing that most of newbies mail me for actually saying "uuuuuuaaaaa I did what I read and my server is not onlineeee". Well...what you have to do is to open your database using HeidiSQL, locate auth, open the realmlist table and change the address from 127.0.0.1 to you ExternalIpaddress. Thats all folks.
