    Maybe you can explain yourself how is it possible? Who started sanction-war? Russians doesn't  even impose sanctions against EU. Maybe this happend coz EU government supported wrong side in this special operation?
    Ofc Putin and Russians are not angels, but you all can't judge them, since you put your tongue in ass, when NATO drop tons of bombs on Yugoslavia, Irak, Syria etc, when millions of civils died.
    Now, when Russians fight vs nazi - brave EU bigheads started to trashtalk so much, as they never did. If you think I'm wrong: type in google "azov" and press on picture.

    And the last thing: if you still think that EU have a right to judge somebody - this video is for you. First of all, wash your hands from the blood.

     This is the next automatically suggested video for me on youtube:

  2. That being said, I have been following this war from the very first moment and I check on current events (from 5 different sources at the same time) almost hourly. I am deeply saddened that this is happening and I can't imagine being in the shoes of those people displaced by or having to fight a war.

    Russia is bad? I don't think so, I don't think the entire country can be labeled as such. Putin however... I think that man belongs to the very frontline in an armored vehicle without gas to drive.

    The carefully crafted ways of the russian propaganda are really effective, I see how effective it is in my own country, Hungary. Orban is using the same method, create a common enemy, create an us vs them situation and present himself as the savior. No wonder Putin and Orban are best buddies. Many people, especially people who don't have access to a variety of news sources or receive a one-sided education regarding historical issues, tend to be susceptible to believing everything that is being told to them.

    Anyway... Ukraine has to win this war, or the very least hold out until a peace treaty is signed, I don't think they will managed to re-capture old territory or even the currently heavily occupied ones, I just hope they remain Ukraine and I hope they will be part of EU as soon as possible so we can help them rebuild their country.

  3. I don't know how big the russian community is here on MXC, but I also think that this topic shouldn't be here.

    Lineage 2 is not partaking in the war, we are not responsible, nor should we fight over it here. Don't split the community even further by possible retards driving a wedge between us. We are here to play and we are here to create, fuck the rest. IMO.

  4. Passive skills don't have a duration, a hittime, reuse, a radius and mp consumption.

    Copy over a simple passive skill xml in the place of the song and make it give 25% P.def, you're done.

    It's not as easy to give you a copy+paste solution because I don't know how your packs XMLs are structured, but it seems like if you change this skill into a passive +25%, there is no guarantee that another Song of Earth version (if such exists on your server?) can also be used as buff and both would stack.

    If I made Song of Earth into a passive, this is how it would look like in my default L2J pack:

        <skill id="264" levels="1" name="Song of Earth">
            <set name="target" val="TARGET_SELF" />
            <set name="skillType" val="BUFF" />
            <set name="operateType" val="OP_PASSIVE" />
            <for>
                <mul order="0x30" stat="pDef" val="1.25" />
            </for>
        </skill>

    You also have the skill icon here, so maybe paste "<set name="icon" val="icon.skill0264" />" to it as well.

  5. No, you just need to change the armor description in itemname-e.dat, so players don't get confused because the skill is missing. But even this is not necessary.

    No, solo necesitas cambiar la descripción de la armadura en itemname-e.dat, para que los jugadores no se confundan porque falta la habilidad. Pero incluso esto no es necesario.

    We will provide test server and full info to the person who will be intrested to buy the whole project. If you came just for demonstration please do not waste developers time. We are all already busy with the new project.

    How do you want to determine whether or not I'm interested in buying it? How should I know if I'm interested in buying it if you don't show me what I'm supposed to buy?

    Don't get me wrong, but this sounds fishy. You are not saying anything specific publicly, you are trying to lead the potential buyers into a backroom to convince them in a one on one conversation? That's what people do who have something to hide and rely on manipulation.

    Show us what you are selling and not just hype up something by speaking in vague generalities about it.

    The server is based on L2Pride concept, but it already have a lot of new ideeas and unique concepts like new classes and remastered old classes with new skills. Is a brand new style with new gameplay.

    Is there a way to test these brand new concepts and classes? Do you have a list of changes or features worth mentioning that distinguish your pack from other Pride packs?

    Irrelevant boy. Its different to have ur own server and different to play another server like pride!
    And we are end of 2021.

    If your read this sentence again, do you actually believe what you're saying is honest? Are you really just fed up with Pride servers or do you just despise the person behind a certain project? Because that's what it seems like.

  9. When the very first leak happened, the original price for it was 5000$. But this was the original pack and source that was being sold. Crazy prices.

    But looking at how much Dav has earned yearly by running Pride, in the later years shortly before closing down the server (Gracia Final), he had a yearly revenue of 80.000$. But that was when 500-800 players were constantly online during the time.

    But noone should expect to even remotely scratch this amount, Pride had over a decade of history and established itself as a long running server players could call home.

    not mentioning about gameplay but trying to have retail balance on acis gonna be a big problem. im 100% sure that the server gonna fail for this delusional idea. even in best scenario, if everything goes well, l2 itself designed without mana potions and limited buff times. so in general; with full buffs and unlimited mana potions, most of the classes will be over powered e.g duelist, grand khavatari. imagine a tyrant/glad goes aoe fight in full retail balance. a single glad can take over a party without its cp been decreased. there was a reason that those classes being nerfed in servers where you have access on mana potions and full buffs. not even talking about dagger classes' full retail formulas in l2j acis. you cant even compare l2off's and acis' movement system. that means in l2off, lets say in 5 seconds you can use 5 skills, in acis you can bypass the limit with its bad optimized movement system and possibly can spam 10 skills in that timeline. both, retail values and having to work on acis is a bad idea.

    I was sitting here, thinking long and hard about where to begin or how to properly adress this post, but the only thing I can say is... "?"

  11. I understand what @splichois trying to point to and I also understand the difference between what @YeahTheProis defending here. Disregarding what is actually being talked about here, splichos combative reaction does suggest personal feelings towards you or your server.

    Now to the topic being discussed. In the end, paying upfront or paying afterwards leads to the same conclusion. It is a motivating factor to many, especially to clans/alliances that are confident and big enough to win. In the end, you are rewarding the biggest/strongest clans for playing on your server and a parallel can be made to just straight up paying them. They simply risk more by being payed based on their performance afterwards and not initially upfront.

    However, while the motivational factor does make a difference, it still does lead to the same conclusion. The best and biggest clans were previously getting payed proportionally based on their numbers and exposure they could bring with how many members they can round-up to win now.

    Essentially, theoretically, respectfully... you are walking down on one of the 2 slightly different paths leading to the same destination, your path being easier to morally defend than the other.

    On a personal note. I am more of a fan of this method, while I despise the upfront payment.

    Also a reason why I will never share the magic critical rate formula. If someone wants it, they can pay a developer/programmer 5 digits of usd to reverse engineer the l2server.exe from leaked files' source, or buy it from me at a reasonable price =]

    The magic crit rate formula is hidden in the l2server.exe?

  13. An all-out war doesn't benefit anyone in this world. Economies are so tightly tied together that we would all lose. The "wars" of today are carried out through economical sanctions and cyber attacks. The bible is a good story and god doesn't exist.

    Only Admin noobs or Admin scammers do not have a BETA period.

    Admins that don't open a BETA server = LIVE server is a BETA server.

    Also, BETA server allows more time for advertising, promotion of server, and engaging with players and clans.

    Let's be honest... a beta is a soft-launch. Practically a live launch with the sticker beta on it. It is by far not as useful as it is said to be, because it sooo heavily depends on the players that join this beta. It depends on them finding mistakes first and what guarantees it that they will even report it to the team?

    I have the exact opposite opinion. Only someone that is not convinced by his own work opens the server as a beta first.

    Having actual playtesters who join for the only purpose of helping to find mistakes and bugs should totally remove the need for a public beta.

    A beta server doesn't mean that you can't advertise, promote and engage with your community beforehand or instead. A beta is an excuse for the lazy, missing ambition.

  15. I am also not a fan of beta servers when it comes to Lineage 2. They are often missused as an excuse for not doing things properly. The community is used as a guinea pig to catch stupid shit the "developer" hasn't thought of due to laziness. If you are making a server, make it right and test shit yourself.

    Nowadays these 1 week private L2 servers fail mainly due to the following reasons:

    1. The server is either run by someone who has absolutely 0 clue of what they are doing.

    2. Or it is run by someone who actually knows how to code, but gets lost between the 1000s of code lines and forgets what actually feels fun to play.

    If you create something, PLAY THROUGH IT. Play your own server! Not with added gear or easier drops and currency, play it as a player would. Do you think it's fun? Good, now invite someone to also playtest it but don't tell them anything. Will they discover and understand the things you want from them? Because this experience is exactly what a new player randomly joining your server will go through.

    If you are honest with yourself and you belong to the 2nd category, do you actually have fun playing on your own server? Or do you just create things that look impressive or good from a designer point of view and think to yourself "well, I wouldn't play it, but they will probably like it", then you are just filtering for gold in a Californian river 170 years after the gold rush ended in America.
