Sometimes my ping is 30-40 and i still lag every 2secs, on net_graph my ms goes to 100 or just freezes that 1sec and then continues to be lower than 100. Idk what that is but i still said that.

 

I first thought its cuz of my sister but it isnt, i experienced this lag while her computer was off.

 

What the hell now, why i lag. And no, its not cuz of server..

Do you use wireless internet connection?

dude use control + alt + delete and see if you have there SWCHOST at procceses if you have it, he eats 50% from your CPU so close it  and your cs or other games will work better, but be carefully not to close SVCHOST one its with W on with V. Close the one with W

Also check few settings:

Rate 25000

ex_interp 0.01

cl_updaterate 101

cl_cmdrate 101

cl_cmdbackup "2" - default

cl_upspeed "320" - default

 

Also chech your ISP it may be the problem,either the country where you play the hoster of the server..
