What you need to play wow?

Guys as you see the title i got this question.To play wow i must buy all the expansios i mean wow battle chest (wow and buring crusade),lich king and catalysm?

I think you need all starting from World of Worcraft to WoW: Burning Crusade to WoW Wrath of the Lich king to WoW Catalysm.

 

But you can always copy/paste the WoW Folder from some of your friends if they are playing wow. Thats what i did, since i didnt want and didnt know the whole "patching the game" stuff >.>

In order to play World of Warcraft, you need the following:

 

Blizzard World of Warcraft + Blizzard World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Expansion

 

OR

 

Blizzard World οf Warcraft Battlechest

When you reach level 70, you need the following Blizzard World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

In some days, cataclysm releases, so you will need the following Blizzard World of Warcraft : Cataclysm

With the battlechest or the first 2 cds , you can create an account with 1 month of free playing.

 

When this month ends, you will need the following Game Card ( 60 days ) in order to continue playing.
