1)Windows Xp Pro

2)Windows Server 2003

3)Windows Vista

4)Windows Server 2008

In Vista and Server 2008 i can use progs like navicat?

2 or 4 choice.

If you found win.server 2008 and a navicat working on this...then your server will be more stable ;)

Well i find it and you are right.

For the others as it supposed to , server 2008 is the same os like 2003 upgraded.

I figured it by using both 2003/2008 windows server in my machine for a while.

why not the xp pro?

about vista everybody knows that it sux

Agree about vista , but not with the xp. Anyway i shouldnt add vista and xp in my topic as the best solution for dev.

Ok ty for your answers.

@And1enes 1st of all you are right about the vista bcuz vista eat many ram , but for a server the optimal operating system is windows server 2003 or 2008(personally i vote 2008 since i test them both).

Anyway i did what i wanted to do and listened enought opinions , so stop.
