[Help]Weird Symbols in browsers.

Ok, one friend of mine has the following problem.

Weird symbols appear only like that:

 

With "weird symbols" I mean symbols like that: ⑬

 

He's using Firefox 3.6.10, but he has the same problem with other browsers too.

 

Any TESTED solution?

maybe your font have the problem ?

maybe the profile owner are adding them to his name (?)

Tell him to not use FF's beta versions... instead use an older version of the browser or re-install his win-fonts.
