Gathering is the same shit, they refer to Apples "Melee" and its "Mere" in Romanian xD

The new zone is the Balaur home. Is where the balaurs come from. It is home for great Balaur bosses. It is available in the update: Aion Assault on Balaurea

wich will be released pretty soon. It is now live on PTS (Public Test Servers)
