[Guide] How to install custom skins in LoL

Hello.

Well, I know that there aren't any shared skins here, but don't worry. Let's learn the installation first and then I'll share more guides + skins + how to make your own.

 

So, let's start.

 

1. You have to download a skin. Skins' extension is .dds

2. Go to the folder in which the game is installed. For example mine is:

C:\Program Files\League of Legends\.

3. Go to=> Game\DATA\

4. Make a new folder and name it "Characters".

5. Now it depends on what Champion you wanna change. Let's take my favourite, Tristana.

We have to make a new folder named "Tristana" and open it.

6. Now we paste the skin there. It must be like that:

C:\Program Files\League of Legends\Game\DATA\Characters\Tristana

and in Tristana's folder you must have the "Tristana.dds" file.

P.S I think that I don't have to mention that you'll be the only one who can see the skins.

It just makes your game more enjoyable.

btw I wonder what she needs these small bullets for, since she uses a big canon/bazooka or whatever it is... ;p

Since Riot changed their Launcher it also changed the files/paths of our client , so this way of installing skins ain't working anymore , so locked ;p
