Regarding the Client mod section I suggest two staff changes: Give CriticalError a chance, if he has time at least, even if it was merely to make his work more easy, because he is helping alot there, far more than any (potential) L2 Client staff, which leads us to my second suggestion: making Sofaki some other mod: L2 mod or gold, cause she is everywhere but there, so there is no point in having permissions on a section she never is.

imo the rank u will get is equal to your knowledge on this subject.

i was trying more than INFINITY times to moderate the client mods sections

but with Sticky and Lock i cant do almost anything.

i cant ask help from l2mods or g mods forever

Yet again, even if someone is sharing hundreds of guides in here, make millions of reports and acts like retard, the most possible thing is ban instead of promote.

Are making me mad. Also, this is a scammed account (The real one was skylancer and he didnt even know a single word in greek) but he though that with a name change everything will look different.

 

I know nothing about him, and i rather have someone non brain dead in the staff than this.

CriticalError is staff member of a Leeching Forum.

so i dont think maxtor will promote him too.... having access in staff sections here and there will make the things more hard

if you want to do something good you need to get some decent guys who DELETE or junk every useless topic in the share sections so you can start with quality content ALSO you need to have ONLY active staff

 

and you need to give back the damn edit post priv to legendarys...

hey...ventic and cobra were members of leeching forums too but they proved to be quality and successful members...grisom had a ban for over 6 months and now is global,ED had a personal ban from maxtor but he is a high ranking and good member

blane was the banned user ezoral(flamer) which the staff had make 6 topics about what to do with him and he is global...criticalerror is really a problem?

Yea, because it didn't happen 1, 2 or 3 times.

He is a staffer in more than 5 forums, and I doubt if he can understand our rules, or the difference between the forums.

I'm not saying that he is stupid, but I believe that if he is asked to transfer a few topics, he won't hesitate to do it.

      Today I would like to introduce a new set of tools developed entirely from scratch in Java, designed to simplify and modernize one of the most important tasks for any online server: distributing, updating, and maintaining the game client quickly, securely, and efficiently. The system has been designed to work with Lineage II, Aion, World of Warcraft, or any other project that requires a file distribution and update system, providing a simple solution for both players and administrators.   The entire project features a modern dark-mode interface, is completely separated into individual tools, and is distributed as standalone Windows executables (.exe) using Launch4j.   1. GameLauncher: The Player Client     GameLauncher is the launcher used by players on their computers. Its goal is to make keeping the game client up to date a completely automatic and transparent process.   Smart Updates: Automatically compares local files with the remote server using a manifest file (manifest.json) Hash-Based Integrity: Calculates file hashes to download only new or modified files, saving time and bandwidth. Real-Time Downloads: Detailed progress bar with transfer speed and automatic ZIP package extraction. Standalone: Packaged into a single .exe with Java 17 requirement validation and automatic redirection if the required environment is not installed.   Source code: https://gitlab.com/u3games/GameLauncher   2. L2Compiler: The Administrator Tool     L2Compiler is the tool designed for server administrators and developers. Automatic Manifest Generation: Instantly generates the manifest.json file with all the required metadata, including file sizes, paths, and hashes, using Gson. Preference Management: Automatically saves the last used paths through java.util.prefs to speed up everyday development tasks. Asynchronous Interface: Background processing through SwingWorker to prevent the interface from freezing during heavy operations.   Source code: https://gitlab.com/u3games/GameCompiler   A System Designed for Online Servers   The idea behind this project is simple: the administrator prepares an update using L2Compiler, and the player receives it automatically through GameLauncher. This allows both tools to work together and provide a simple update workflow:   Development Client → L2Compiler → Server → GameLauncher → Updated Client   There is no need for players to manually search for files, download patches one by one, or go through complicated installation processes. Although the system was initially designed with projects such as Lineage II, Aion, and World of Warcraft in mind, it is not tied to any specific game. If your project needs to distribute files and keep its clients up to date, it can be easily adapted to fit your needs.   Open Source for the Community   This project was created by me for the U3Games community, with the goal of providing a modern, simple, and reusable alternative for managing updates across our servers.
