[HELP] Mysql Error

I downloaded my community server new version.When i try to install it at last step(current root pass and new pass) i excute and i get this error.

 

Error Nr.1045

 

I tried to reinstall it twice but nothing changed.

Any ideas how to fix it?

When u register at mysql to dw the lastest mysql community server version,at ur email u get pass for ur account registration.Do i have to use that pass that mysql sendend me for current root pass?

Thanks so much!  The same thing happened with my install.  It hangs on the last 'security'

procedure.

 

OS Windows XP Pro, MySQL version 5.0.18-nt

 

I shut down my PC (rudely, since the config window won't close), restarted and followed

the instructions for setting the password the MySQL command line client

 

1. Pressing enter at the password prompt, and resetting it as follows:

2. SET PASSWORD FOR 'root'@'localhost' = PASSWORD('Pass');

Problem solved,lock it.
