LOL guyz.... if ping is 9999!! srv running... the problem isnt ip! i had the same problem... go to server.properties and change it!

# Minimum and maximum protocol revision that server allow to connect.

# You must keep MinProtocolRevision <= MaxProtocolRevision.

MinProtocolRevision = 740

MaxProtocolRevision = 746

1st make it 740 -746 if it is still 9999 ping chane it to 1-999!

# Delimiter is ;

# WARNING: Changing the protocol revision may result in incompatible communication and many errors in game!

# Default: 146;152

AllowedProtocolRevisions = 146;152

Have you opened ports in your router ? Dunno for epilogue, but there is 3 ports to open on UDP : 2106, 7777, 9014.

You say nothing about your topology dude. Is the server is your dev PC, distant, are you using a router, etc, etc.

Avoid to use 1-999, only kids does. If you client revision isn't the good, you got a GS log message on it, and it says which revision you are using. Anyway on IL, it works like that.

I think it's IP based problem, I had more than once too. And each time I forget the answer lol.

Here are my configs, they are working on distant aswell. LS and GS are on the same PC. I can log in from the same PC, and ppl can login from the internetz.

First, LS and second GS.

# ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Login Server Settings

# Default: 127.0.0.1
ExternalHostname = 92.129.91.61

# Default: 127.0.0.1
InternalHostname = 127.0.0.1

# Bind ip of the LoginServer, use * to bind on all available IPs
# Default: *
LoginserverHostname = *

# The address on which login will listen for GameServers, use * to bind on all available IPs
# Default: *
LoginHostname = *

# Default: 2106
LoginserverPort = 2106

# The port on which login will listen for GameServers
# Default: 9014
LoginPort = 9014

# If set to True any GameServer can register on your login's free slots
# Default: False
AcceptNewGameServer = False

# If False, the license (after the login) will not be shown.
# Default: True
ShowLicence = False

# ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Game Networking Settings
# ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

# Default: *
ExternalHostname = 92.129.91.61

# Default: *
InternalHostname = *

# Default: 127.0.0.1
LoginHost = 127.0.0.1

# Default: 9014
LoginPort = 9014

# Default: *
GameserverHostname = *

# Default: 7777
GameserverPort = 7777

Hope it will help.

If you want a hint :

I would first check configs to see if they match, if not correct.

After that, I would check ports on router.

And after that I would cry cause answer is known only by aliens so /emocry.

And check firewall dude... It's sad to use a firewall.

    • The Lucera2 Multiprotocol is an advanced server branch for Lineage 2 that enables seamless support for multiple client versions on a single server instance. This allows players to connect and play using either the legacy (old) client or the newer Classic client simultaneously, without any compatibility issues or loss of functionality. Key Benefits Dual Client Support: Both the old Interlude client and Classic: Secret of Empire 2.6 client can run concurrently on the same server. All features from the Classic client (e.g., enhanced UI, new mechanics) remain fully available, while the old client retains its alternative features (e.g., simplified interfaces for lower-end hardware). Expanded Player Base: Ideal for regions with limited access to modern gaming setups, as it accommodates a wider range of devices and preferences, merging Legacy and Classic communities into one forum section for unified discussions. No Functionality Gaps: Extensive testing ensures zero disruptions—players on either client experience complete game integrity, including quests, PvP, raids, and custom Lucera2 subsystems. You can fully test and explore all aspects of Multiprotocol on the dedicated Test Server. Supported Protocols C6 (Old Client): Protocol versions 740–770. Classic Client (Secret of Empire 2.6): Protocol versions 166–192.
