About L2j dataflow

Hi, i want ask those who have experience with servers with 1000ppl online. How much dataflow i need in mouth for that many ppl? how much it eats :)

 

i asking because datacenter wants know limit for data in my cause :)

 

so my question is: How much data eats 1000ppl online in everyday in one mouth?

install mysql server in a different machine than server. maybe 2 more little machines are cheapest than a big machine.

Not a smart idea, better off not using mysql at all xD oracle or files are faster then mysql xD how fast? way fast xD

L2DC is just a l2j fork made by some server hosters.. ur better off with l2jfree if ur looking for smth different then l2jserv. and tis free too xD

 

And about my previous statement.. it was kinda retarded.. so lemme refraze:

 

L2J Is a project founded by l2chef in like 2006 or smth like that xD

Since c4 l2chef left and thise new guys started working on it.. and the way thy worked and still work is lame.. u got static objects that never get handled by garbage collector.. you also have network problems cus of their -beep-ed up queuing system (if it can be called system) and their reflection or any other lang packege is unknown to them take for example their scripting manager.. its a freaking c/p from google and coded retarded too like c/p code.

Using reflection is way faster and so so accesable the only thing close to reflection and performance in l2j are L2Spawn and SkillHandlerType classes.. they didn't fail on them.(Whats to fail there huh? xD)

 

Ye.. so running an l2j = headaches, ull need to get a good dev to sort out all those shits, also the thing u need to worrie about is internet connection, the rest is handled by the machine and jvm. You will need to have at least a dual core pc and over 4 gb of ram to run a healthy 300+ online users, with some performance tweeks u can get even more then that.. but to run a heavenly populated l2j u need alot of processing power xD and since jvm is more in ur ram ull need ram too.

So a i7 and over 12 gb ram should do the trick ^^

Hopefully you will have a cracked one xD, cuz cheapest version cost over 900$/year, (yeah, they have a free version, a version which doesnt support x64 and so on xD) for that price i prefer to rent another machine and use mysql xD
