best way to learn is by doing, I might rewrite this guide at some point to be a bit more relevant to the times but that's a future thing

@Anarchy I know this topic is a bajillion years old but I am just getting into extender dev (coming from a high level programming language and never having had studies in the field) so I figured I'd give this a try :)

 

I was wondering if you still have the resources initially posted in the thread (pictures/links are all dead) in some magic cache :D Fiddling with @eressea's Extender I realized I have to actually understand everything behind the hood in order to actually be able to achieve something, so doing something like you are describing in this thread first might be the best idea.
