And Ran DBscripts from one of the packs available on forum... do i need matching dbscripts? if so where can i get dbscripts for 444?

 

Other than that If i can get this fixed im happy with it and want to start tweaking/messing with stuff....

I can not get Exp / Sp to work.... U kill any mobe and will "you have got 0 experience and 0 Sp".

 

1.) Do I have to use any Sql Scripts from the Vampire folder?

2.) I have set Exp rates from l2server.ini / still not working xp/sp.

3.) Is there any "quick" fix that is free for this?

 

Are there anymore free packs that are more up to date?  I have like 20 packs on my desktop... the only one I got xp to work in was an l2off x64 hellbound pack.... that worked quite well.... but i prefer interlude.

You need a Full 444 KB pack, i suggest using a 372 KB or a 1.5 MB, or 1,69 MB (if you find it)

I have a few packs, dumper doesn't work for me atm so I can't get 1.5/1.6 keys

 

would anyone happen to know where i can get a full 444?

 

I must of downloaded a lot of diff packs from diff sites, these files are all old and every pack is missing 1 part or another from cacheD, to extenders.....

 

trying to filter the crap out and get a good starting position.

 

Does PP still have SVN up? I can't seem to find the original.

 

all these damn russian sites are slow as fuck...... but they seem to be only ones without dead links ...

I must be missing something,

 

I got a 1.6mb pack working (dumper ty)... still having xp issues... it must be DB related....

 

Running Win 2003 X64.... Running SQL2005

I think it has to do with user_data in SQL... maybe missing a table?

any input would be cool ^^

 

funny thing is only way I get HP working at all is using a Hellbound L2off pack that i don't wana use ;p...

Having fun with it tho.... augments work been testing augments out all day with friends...;p

 

If i could just get this xp working correctly it would be nice i could have a nice lil server to work on.

 

Am i missing something with DB creation?

 

create_database(1).sql  -> 1~35.sql? i get errors sometimes with specific sql's when running querys.

How does XP work.

The way I udnerstand it...

L2server ini under event... u set the exp 100 = 1x 1000=10x 10000=100x

I get this

 

Npcdata.txt (inside scripts) i use a rater and save back in unicode ..

I use DBscript setup from another pack... to get the basic db's up.

 

(if i launch server like this i get 0xp/0sp) from mobs using 1.6 mb extender.

If I run more sql updates... things stay the same and I get Query Errors (says Im missing/do not have access to user_data most of the time which is what I think my problem is.)

Is there a way to modify the npc from ingame? Ie //setexp of mob 99 just to see if its working  and my data is bad?

im sure ur sql stored procedures were not imported.some stroed procedures just were modified by devs,not created news.

so when u import some stored procedures u need del the original one.like lin_SaveCharacter.sql,at first u need del it in lin2world db by manually.

thats why u got query errors...

and remember there is a sequence w/ some of the stored procedure when u import.

btw,i used 1.69kb extender and works good...2003 server x64 & SQL server 2000

Yes this is what I think it is.... I sorted out a few of them ;) cursed weapon etc.... a lot of my stuff is just out of order i think .... stupid little mistakes from lack of experience with this setup.

 

I think the majority of the prob i have is updating the database from c4 to Interlude.... honestly I set into this project to create a C5 server .... but theres only like 1 pack available and it seemed more plausible to jump into interlude and try to back track a little....via customizations.

Is there not a DbScript/SqlScript pack somewhere that has this stuff fairly set other than changing the ip's db user info etc...?

Also I formated and lost a lot of my packs (now only have 1.5~dll) anyone can link me a 1.6 pack? nothing on any forums are labeled anymore... and most of the links are dead everywhere.

 

PS: does PP have an SVN where I can pull some C5 stuff from?

 

ironically some packs I have have really nice DB's that work with Hellbound .... but meh i don't want HB ... -_- here I am trying to get as close to C5 - Interlude and im being pushed towards HB ~Gracia (shutters in fear at the thought of playing gracia again.... :-X).

 

Wish there was a clean pack with everything labeled... pack im using atm has everything doubled up and junk.... a mess of .sql files.

the active skill stuff not 2 worried about right now i can get to that later.

Im having problems with User_data in specific... always says can't alter table ... etc or that there is no table.

 

I think im missing the sql that sets up this table.... or it is being setup wrong... almost anything dealing with "user_data" is screwed up.

 

IE: ALTER TABLE user_data ADD

will give me

Msg 4902, Level 16, State 1, Line 1

Cannot find the object "user_data" because it does not exist or you do not have permissions.

Msg 4902, Level 16, State 1, Line 2

Cannot find the object "pledge" because it does not exist or you do not have permissions.

 

Another prob I have is There is already an object named 'lin_ReloadRatesByAccountId' in the database.

When theres not .... fresh clean DB... im going to wipe entire db and start over.

 

 

ps:

There are some stuff about dynamic rates.... is this needed / can disable it somehow i don't want "dynamic rates" I want non-dynamic ones ? im not sure if this is some sort of mod to adjust rates of server on the fly or something... if so i would like to disable that... and have set rates... or am i mistaken in that assumption?

 

 

I have used this cleanup utility SQLPACK from PP but still get same User_data probs (does not exist) how can I make this table -_-.. /where is it lin2word?

in this pack there is a 1.684kb pack.why not use that?

 

i have the same sql errors in cached server,lin_CreateActiveSkill and lin_updateActiveSkill.i dont know why thats way...seems all is ok...

im finding some profect sql pack.

Now my friends and I have a nice server to mess around/test stuff out on.... sure I could of settled for an L2j server but the hell with that.... what else am i gona use all this ram for ? ;p
