cunhado Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 As the titles says. I'm looking for a good up to date Interlude pack. Nothing pre-configured... just a good working pack. Which one would you advise and where can I get it from? (I know how to use eclipse and learning how to apply patches etc.) Thanks in advance.

Well, you can get archid for now, and since you learn many things about coding, compiling, etc. you will be able to code it according your own needs. BTW Glad to see that someone read my guide and started working with it :)
0 disast3r Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 in some days archid will make a stable interlude pack so w8 for it :) L2Jarchid Site
0 cunhado Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Thanks for the info Coyote. I read so much about Archid, DOT, Hardcode, Emu, and many others, its so hard to decide which one stands out. Also many projects died, ressurrect, die again. @disast3r I will take a look at the link you gave me. Thanks a lot :)
0 cunhado Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Bad topic place. Next time post your question at "[Request] Dev Help [L2J] En"! Could be...thank you for your info. Like you did on all the 30 posts before mine... trying to get postcount up? But ontopic: I get errors when i try to write the tables in navicat. In the end i miss a lot of tables. Seems to happen to me a lot when installing interlude :/
0 LauQ Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 You could try search in the L2jarchid forums, it is a common problem I assume (I had it too a while ago when I tried it) I think L2jarchid is the best choice atm, as Harcode died two weeks ago, and emu, l2j don't have active Interlude packs anymore. BTW: Are you starting new project? Or just trying to mess around a bit first? Learning a bit? Anyway: Im always willing to help if you need, zeker een Nederlander ^^
0 cunhado Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Dutch indeed ;D I'm trying to learn this project as much as possible and hopefully create my own custom server one day. Its a great way to learn mysql, java etc.... update: After gathering some info's I found out that working with mysql 6 could give me the errors. So I reinstalled mysql 5.1 as Tuga from Archid advised me. Didn't have the time to see if it works properly now because of my work, but I will test it soon.
0 WizZy™ Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 L2JArchid has an annoying target bug and its the most unstable project i've ever seen. You can use l2jhardcode though.

0 LauQ Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 You can use l2jhardcode though. Which was closed 3 weeks ago, after being active for 3 weeks, sounds good... I will test l2jarchid soon and see for myself; a project with daily updates, quite some active devs and a decent community mustn't be that bad ^^

I will test l2jarchid soon and see for myself; a project with daily updates, quite some active devs and a decent community mustn't be that bad ^^ Actually L2JArchid closed cuz of many bugs.. :D And they haven't commited anything for a month+ or if they commited something ,its wrong. L2JHardCoded may be not updated everyday ,but it has 100% perfomance and almost all bugs fixed.
0 Intrepid Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 all of this things are bullshit dont believe to interlude developers all of them are just wannabes. anyway if you want to have a shit life in the l2jscene use interlude but before you do that you need 3 important thing 1.patiance(because il is a crap in every aspect) 2.a huuuuuuge noobish act(just to let yourself believe your work worth it with interlude) 3.good knowledge in c/p Ps.:dont comment it if you dont want to these are facts no matter what the brainless part of the forum say.
