Download and install Warcraft Version Switcher

 

1. Download Warcraft Version Switcher from the link below and extract it.

 

Download Warcraft_Version_Switcher.rar (RS link) (632KB)

 

2. Download the Warcraft 3 Version Switcher file(s) you want to use with your Version Switcher.

 

Warcraft 1.20e Patch File:

TFT Version 1.20e

 

Warcraft 1.21 Patch File:

TFT Version 1.21

 

Warcraft 1.21b Patch File:

TFT Version 1.21b

 

Warcraft 1.22a Patch File:

TFT Version 1.22

 

Warcraft 1.23a Patch File:

TFT Version 1.23

 

Warcraft 1.24 Patch File:

TFT Version 1.24

 

Warcraft 1.24b Patch File:

TFT Version 1.24b

 

 

3. After downloading the patch version file(s) you wanted, DO NOT EXTRACT THEM. Place the patch version file(s) into the "wvs" folder where you have extracted your Warcraft Version Switcher.

 

4. Now run wvs.eve and you should be good to go.

(a) It should ask you to browse your Warcraft folder. DON'T BROWSE IT TO war3.exe ! Just browse it to the Warcraft III folder (i.e. C:\Warcraft III).

 

 

Patching war3 using Warcraft Version Switcher

 

1. Execute "wvs.exe"

 

2. Click on the 'Switch Version' button (First button)

 

3. Double click on the version you would like to switch.

 

 

4. Click on 'yes' and the game will be patched.

 

 

5. Finally, click 'Exit' when you're done :)

 

 

IF YOU'RE PLAYING GARENA, DO NOT RUN THE GAME BY CLICKING ON THE WARCRAFT ICONS IN THE WARCRAFT VERSION SWITCHER AND SEARCH FOR GAMES IN LAN. FOR GAMES HOSTED IN GARENA CLIENT, MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE 'START GAME' BUTTON FOUND IN THE GARENA CLIENT!!
