Windows 7.. Is it worth?

Lol guys....wtf are u talking about ...? windows 7 are not like vista....no connection with vista...just some same effects....it doesnt mean that because are new need a SUPER pc...i have win7 on my poor old pc ...with p3 and 256 ram...and its ok ...just cant afford too many applications ...i use win7 from the first beta version...before the rc...believe me ...its 20x times better than vista and 10x than xp...for any questions ask me

256 RAM? Chill it, win 7 needs minimum 1gb ram. Your old pc is super or what? O_o

Anyway, a low RAM doesn't improve your interface, only lowers it. So, a 2gb-3gb RAM is always the minimum.

 

@Leeroy : +1 to windows 7. BTW, if you can, link me your CPU.I wanna check a couple of things. I thought that intel had minimum 2.66ghz i7 processors. You will save me , thanks.

@xXSkillerXx  yeah skiller....win7 has the technology and can work with low ram...i use the classic windows theme so i dont need so much ram...well look ...on my main pc i have win 7 and 4 gb ram...when i open the pc ...when windows run and everything is ok the porgrams that are open are "Msn avast antivirus and bluetooth " and windows use only 400 ram ...:/ on the other pc ...i dont use any of this...only utorrent and shareable devices ...

Dude... as I said, 256 RAM can't afford running windows 7. Well, you can actually make a startup, run 2 windows/programs, but thats all. You waste the things that win.7 can offer. Thats why Microsoft announced some Minimum Requirements for win7 users. So they can actually see what this OS can 'achieve'.

Anyway, soz for the off-topic, I just wanted to make something clear.

Yeah but this what i mean is that minimum requirements is for windows to give all that they can but i dont need this....does it mean that because microsoft announced those requirements any other pc cant afford it? i mean that i dont need full windows 7 ...i need only the minimum that they can give...

Windows XP maximum, is better than windows 7 minimum. ;)

XP OS can run with 64mbs of RAM (lol?), check this if you don't believe me.

1000 BGN are like 500-550 euro's ,but its worth my pc is flying.

 

P.S.2 i just found out that my processor is heating for 50C.. with only firefox and winamp running.. Lets see the online consultation they will give me ..

Mabey i`ll go for watercooling ,but i don't wanna risk my pc blowing again since i had a bad past with it.. THere was a leak in it and the whole pc went to the junkyard :D

Nah ...dont go for watercooling...it sucks and you can never be sure for the life of your computer....air cooling is the best....use a big "this one which gives electricity on computer dont remember word in english " with much watts and use some big fans...
