smity911 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 hello all, I have been tring to edit "itemname-e" to add dusk iteams to my gracia final server but every time i try and save the file i have edited with "L2 file edit" i get this. --------------------------- L2 FileEdit --------------------------- Cannot open file "C:\Users\Myname\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX1\temp\new-ItemName-e.dat". The system cannot find the file specified. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- i have tried useing 4 other "L2 fileedit" that i found on here but all do the same thing. -$karos- Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 What chronicle are you using? -By the way wrong section :D If you are using Interlude download this one : L2 FileEdit Interlude Make sure you have a patched system otherwise you won't be able to open these kind of files. If it is only ItemName-e.dat that you can't open it is probably corrupted.That happens if you made a mistake the tables in ItemName-e.dat,then the ItemName-e.dat will disappear. smity911 Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 sorry bout the wrong section, client im useing is gracia CT2.3 final i will give your's a try EDIT: Same thing with your file, i can open the files no probs and i can save them i just cant save them once i add somthing to it.

You can't open my file because it is not capable with your FileEdit (Because that file is from Interlude and you are using Gracia Final) Anyways... download a patched system Gracia final from hopzone (Just search for a Gracia Final server and manipulate its files) open FileEdit, edit L2ini by changing the IP at Server Address line in order to connect to your desired server and finally try editing ItemName-e.dat That should work... at least that worked for me... PS:I don't know if there is a better way :( and then try again editing the ItemName-e.dat That should work..
