-=FIFA Soccer 2010(10)=-

Hello folkz...Today i am in a good mood and i will do smth that i have been planning to do a couple of days ago :D...Yes ,yes u are right...Today i will make a review about the best soccer simulator...I'm talking about FIFA Soccer wich is out about 13 years and the progress of the game is unbelievable...The review is seperated on the following parts:

  • Prologue
  • Top New Features
  • 10 Other things about FIFA 10 that we should know
  • Pictures
  • Videos
  • Comments by some users
  • My personal opinion

.::Prologue::.

FIFA Soccer 10 is the 13th FIFA game produced by E.A. Sports...The video-game will be available on all the consoles as always...EA changed a lot of football fans opinions in 2008. For the first time, their impressively licensed but unrefined soccer series was polished to the point where many gamers finally now see it as the equal to Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer. If FIFA 09 was a Chelsea under Abramovich-style revolution, then FIFA 10 is an exercise in Everton's incremental team-building. We were at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium for the world’s first hands on of this year’s version. Below are all the new features you must know about. The new season starts here.

.::Top New Features::.

-360° dribbling

Unlike last year’s game, where players could really only turn in eight directions, FIFA 10 has a new dribbling system that gives you much more control. While it might sound like a cynical buzz word, the new system feels a lot more refined than the dribbling in any other football game, giving you a completely organic turning circle of 360°.

During our three matches with Chelsea and Manchester United, we could genuinely appreciate how much more subtle and varied player movement was with the ball at our feet. Animation for different players is very individual, too, and Chelsea's fleet-footed Joe Cole turns much more fluidly than lumbering defenders like Alex or Vidić.

-Your AI teammates now play like seasoned footballers rather than clueless computer cycles

Thanks to a new positioning system, players now behave more realistically than ever before. During a video presentation we were shown examples of players making smarter runs – like Ronaldo making curved runs into space for a through pass, rather than just following the path of the ball.

A.I. teammates also defend much more intelligently as a team now. For instance, holding midfielders, like Michael Essien, often stay back for corners while their centre halves go up for set pieces. So if the opposition hits his team on the counter attack, and John Terry and co. are out of position, Essien can make up for it by tracking the attacker's run and stopping the move.

-The manager mode is much more realistic

Aside from the ill-advised choice of using Luis Felipe Scolari as its frontman (who might well be replaced pre-release considering he was given the boot by Chelsea not too long ago), manager mode looks much more comprehensive than last year. Not only are results and league outcomes replicated more closely to real life than before (no more Arsenal in mid-table mediocrity, then), but transfers are also a lot more in-depth and realistic.

So what does this mean for the the likes of Burnley and Birmingham fans? Well, there'll be no signing Torres or Kaka for a kick-off, as it's harder to convince big name stars to sign for less high profile clubs. Managing a minnow-esque club requires dedication and patience - you have to build a competitive team over time - but any trophies won on a shoe string budget are that much more satisfying for the work needed to lift them.

The transfer system will now be updated on a week by week basis to match clubs real wheelings and dealings. A.I. clubs are also more on the ball now. Opposition teams actively monitor your transfer activity and enter into bidding wars to prevent you from signing new players. They rotate their stars according to match importance too, so you can expect to play against weakened sides in the early rounds of cup competitions.

Finally, the way players grow and improve has been vastly expanded. And factors like what club they ply their trade for affects how quickly their stats improve – so your new signing will develop more quickly at Man City than Morecombe.

.::10 Other Thingz That You Should Know::.

• You can play 11 vs. 11 practice matches with no loading in the arena mode

• New urgency A.I. means players react and adapt to situations more quickly and are now better at marking and pressing the opposition.

• Through balls are less effective to reduce the number of goals scored on the counter-attack.

• Goalie saves are more realistic – they conserve their energy according to the power of the shot, meaning they won’t throw themselves through the air for weak daisy-cutter efforts anymore.

• The time it takes to complete a crossfield pass is halved from around 3 seconds to 1.5.

• Animations for trick stick moves are shaved, meaning it takes far less time to pull off pirouettes and step-overs.

• Karem Benzema’s the new cover star. But Rooney and Ronaldinho are still fronting the game with him for the European version.

• Tackling is more refined – sliding tackles have greater range but standing tackles are less powerful, making for a more balanced defensive game.

• Players now adjust their bodies more realistically, making it easier and quicker to trap passes.

• The referee now lets play flow after fouls more often to allow for advantages.

    • First, don't really follow the "main voice", moreover if you consider it an hobby. Simply do what you want, you got only one life so use it as you want. If you make it an hobby, it's exactly like piano, or velo - only practice makes you better.   Secondly, how do you learn things ? It's actually a really important question, since some can simply be scholar, read books (theory) then practice ; and some simply can't read books. I'm the second type, I hated school, I find it boring - my knowledge in Java comes from try-and-fail. You improve your coding style every year or so, I can myself rewrite my own code (which I already considered top-notched) after a while. You always learn something new - even if Java barely evolves. L2J is a fun way to learn programming, it's a giant sandbox where you can edit anything, and I believe it should be taken as it.   My own way of learning was as follow : Add existing customs, no matter what they are : the point is to know main classes used by L2J / customs. L2J is barely Java knowledge ; the true knowledge is to know WHAT to search in WHICH location (what I call, organization). You have to understand than EVERYTHING you think already exists, in a form on another, in the source code. A custom is only the association of the different mechanisms you found "here and there", glued together in a proper goal. Once you know main classes to edit, and the customs you added are compiling fine, the main point is to know WHAT exactly you DID. Try to understand WHY and WHERE you actually copied the code. Third point would be to MANIPULATE the customs you added in order to fit your wish. First edit little values, then logic conditions ; eventually add a new Config, or a new functionality to the custom. Fourth point would be to begin to craft your own ideas. Once again, EVERYTHING already exists, in a form or another. You want a cycled event ? You got Seven Signs main task as exemple. Npc ? Search any type of Npc and figure out what it does. Fifth point would be to understand Java - mostly containers (WHAT and WHERE to use them), variables types and main Java mechanisms (inheritance, static modifier, etc). You should also begin to cut your code into maintainable classes or methods. Java can actually run without optimization, but bigger your ideas, more optimized and well-thought it should be. It's direct saved time in the future, and you would thank yourself doing so. Main tips : ALWAYS use any type of versioning system - GIT or SVN. It allows to save your work, step by step and eventually revert back anytime you want if you terribly messed up. L2J is 80% organization knowledge, and 20% Java knowledge. Basically, if you know WHAT and WHERE to search, if you aren't dumb, it's easy to replicate and re-use things. Cherry on top is to use a already good coded pack to avoid copy-paste crap and get bad habits. Avoid any type of russian or brazilian packs, for exemple - their best ability is to leak someone's else code. Obviously you need some default sense of logic, but Java and programming in general help you to improve it.   Finally, most of your questions could be solved joining related Discord (at least for aCis, I can't speak for others) - from the moment your question was correctly asked (and you seemed to search for the answer). My community (and myself) welcomes newbies, but got some issues with noobies.   The simpliest is to try, fail and repeat until you succeed - it sounds stupid, but that's basically how life works.   PS : about Java ressources, before ChatGPT, it was mostly about stackoverflow website, and site like Baeldung's one. With ChatGPT and alike, you generally double-cross AI output to avoid fucked up answers. Also, care about AI, they are often hallucinating really hard, even today. They can give you complete wrong answer, you tell them they are wrong, and they say "indeed, I suck, sorry - here's a new fucked up answer". You shouldn't 100% rely over AI answer, even if that can give sometimes legit answers, full code or just skeletons of ideas.   PPS : I don't think there are reliable ressources regarding L2J itself, also most of the proposed code decays pretty fast if the source code is actually maintained (at least for aCis). Still, old coded customs for old aCis sources are actually a good beginner challenge to apply on latest source.
