could not connect to mysql

i am trying to make a website. everything is set like template and such things but when i try to connect website to my database with this config:

but after all these when i go to my website it shows me this message "Couldn't connect to MySQL".

 

i dont know whatto do is there anyone who can help me? or give me your msn please i really need this

change the host with your IP.

1st open 3306 port

2st  $hserver="srv ip"; <--- change srv ip to localhost "localhost"          // Server IP

and put the password if you have

open port like i opened for my game/login server ports right? and srv ip i put there my own server ip right ?

i dont remember your ip www.whatismyip.com or localhost.....

wait wait wait, $hserver="srv ip" <--- this has nothing to do with the mysql server.

 

just give us more info about the mysql server. is it in the same machine as the webserver? the provider uses hostnames for internal networking?

if you use in server no-ip change the server ip with no-ip and if not with your ip

what is db name?

you use no-ip?
