You know how you can point out at a AI "project" with out the blatant AI text(like generic unimportant injection of features as Party matching, Offline shops or Mailbox & "substantial table rewrites") in this kinda posts?

They come out out of no where, suddenly, they sell you a solution you can do yourself if you have a 5x or 20x AI sub.

 

Selling the work of other and just saying "i rewrote AB data from one part of the other", gr8 bro! Anyone today can do it.


On another note, first time seeing Lu4, gourgious! Tho some of the lighting is fucked in this client, it looks way better than standard l2, but what's with this unshaded shit. SSAO or some cheap GI too costly? lol

Testing every packet by hand was painful, I don't think an AI will launch L2, edit one packet byte, do one actions, see the result in game. Rinse and repeat. And yes, I used AI to embellish my message as my English level sucks.

It can, if you set it up cleverly. But that’s not the point.
You’re selling something half-baked that was made with AI in most cases.

What is half baked? And what do you mean by made with AI in most cases? What do you know?

 

It was about 2 months of work on their newer client, and one extra was wasted on their first unreal engine 4 client since they completely changed the game protocol plus none of the original injected dll was usable on the newer client.

 

I edited their UI by hand (over 1k individual changes that needs PAK file rebuild + game restart).

 

If you guys can make it in a few days with the help of AI, that's great, I did not.

Even if are work there, you use a client made for other project on U4 (now are U5 btw) to make packets communication with server and ask for 10k over price as fuck
And no test server why? if server side is based on acis mean is java you can rent a VPS for 5usd with linux and run on it

I think this is more of a proof of concept rather than an actual usable product. Given the alien nature of the client I can only imagine the pain..

I did it all in just 4 days. In fact, they changed the lu4.bin executable after 2 days, and I had to do it again. It only took me an hour. It's a job that costs, at most, $2,000 USD. Cheers.
