Well , i have Vista Premium , but never had no problem with L2 , neither the updater had anything ,all worked perfectly ( alltho at the beginning updating the game took a long time hehe , but now all worls well )

L2 works without any config under windows Vista Ultimate Edition (up-to-date with latest updates) for me...

try :right click on l2.exe and choose compatibilty then run as admin and run as xp,2000  windows 98....try

same problem in c4 server i did what cicciopipi sayied but nothing

well...then  make a partition with xp and play l2 from there...like i did before i found core.dll
