I played L2Revenge, L2Pandora, L2TheGame back then, but I was very very young and I don't remember anything. I think revenge was x35 with a bit OP donations and a terrible website but lots of players. But back then if you opened a server higher than x1 you got 1k players instantly.

Interesting story, never really bothered with l2j since 2010 (aCis release) because I don't like clients after interlude so I didn't really care what they did.

No idea for other servers. But this part is true.
