looking for working unreal engine 2 for l2 , im getting allways error when i try to load ukx file

Cuz your Editor (Engine) missing some Scripts. 
Step 1. 
You need to add your castoms manualy.

Step 2. ( if you are cannot handle step 1) 
You need to buy "YOUR" Castoms.
Step 3. ( If you are cannot handle step 1 and step 2.)
Make your Own Engine.u

P.S. Here is noone will give you Engine.u for "Free" , Sad but true.

Or you can either just download lord0fdest's L2Editor, you'll be able to edit some UKX files as long as they don't have any animations inside.

and you'll also need this one to make files work on the client

You won't find any free way to do such thing, you'd need to buy Gildor's tool.
