LeBlanc Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 (edited) Hello, I am a League of Legends player, and there we have a free tool that was developed and is available on github. After playing a game of LoL, we can download the game we want as replay. We get a replay file that is very small just like the l2r files from L2. When we open those files, it launches the replay on the LoL client. The tool allows us many things, including: to move the camera freely create a pathing slow or fast move around characters, actions even affect the playback speed to create slow motion for example and many other things you can come up with I was wondering if someone had already created that kind of software to work with the l2r files that the system creates when we record in-game. After creating a pathing for the camera, we could just play the scene that we have created and record the video itself with a software like Shadow Play and then edit it in After Effects or Vegas. This would offer content creators in the L2 community a vast array of tools to create cinematic videos, in contrast with the original L2 camera that is centered around the character. There is a special tool for this that is used by Ncsoft , its binded in client but requires additional files to be working properly . Give me your contacts in pm , i can desribe better Quote
AlmostGood Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 many years ago there was mod to improve replays with missing data, like crests, dunno if KR serialize all data and then just ignore it when displaying replay or that mod had to add it, beside that there was not a lot of attention for replays in l2 :D Quote
