.res and npctopc animations

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello guys, i have 2 things i want in my server, im new in Java, but im trying to get better, but still struggling creating those two specific things.

I have 2 requests.

1. I need a voice command , whenever someone types .res, they get resurected if killed for 8k adena, BUT if someone killed them, and they used .res once , they cannot use it second time and they need to go to the village. It looks like fake death, someone kills u, u type .res and go back to full hp.

2.This is pretty hard one, i have npctopc buffer, because i couldnt change simple npcs template to class_id, so i decided to use it, and, i need buffer to make animations,for example, whenever buff is pressed, there is only one animation from buffer, like raises both hand or whatever, and whenever i am pressing dance buff, sword animation goes above my head(self buff animations) same with all other buffs. But the thing is , i have my buffer wrote down in html, and i don't really know how to adapt to Java. Im adding photos of buffer look, buffer design and code.

Using l2mobius

how buffer looks(cant upload photo here because too big):https://gyazo.com/8eb0308dfb063e6da5914a3111646967

1.: I don't know much about IL L2JServer but most likely you will have to create a new handler for that. Check out how other voiced commands are handled on your servers. Like the wedding stuff, .engage, .divorce, etc, if there are any of these, ofc.

2. If you want an npc to have different type of animation for different skils, then you'll have to edit the  mobskillanimgrp.dat. But most npc have 1-2or no animations at all.

You could at least say thanks to this guy who tried to help you instead of being an badass guy...

Put logic on your request.

You have to start from the conditions.

You have as a condition the town right? So go on TownZone.java and find method onEnter().

check if the character is player and if yes, set him to be able to use the command. Can be done easily with a boolean.

	@Override
	protected void onEnter(Creature character)
	{
		if (character instanceof Player)
			((Player) character).canRessurected = true;
public boolean canRessurected = false;

then , make your own voiced command and check if the player can be ressurected ...

if (command.startsWith("res"))
	handleRes(activeChar);
private static void handleRes(Player activeChar)
{
      if (!activeChar.isDead())
          return;

      if (!activeChar.canRessurected)
      {
          activeChar.sendMessage("You have alredy used this command. Go to town first");
          return;
      }

      activeChar.doRevive();
      activeChar.canRessurected = false;
}

about your buffer , i doubt someone will help you for the adaption without pay him.

about magic skill you send wrong packet (MagicSkillUse). use the npc as caster and player as receiver

Well, I assumed that you had a clue or two about java, sorry for that.
