I am from Argentina and I can not write English very good, and I hope it can help me understand well.. My Problem Is It, When i Want See My Texture In Game, Can Look Some Parts Blacks :S i use chanel alpha to transparent or invisible some parts but I can not make it work correctly you can see in the image below my problem i dont know if my problem is the weaponsgrp or something, if u have some idea, im waiting for u lesson ;D tx for read Urbanhack PD: Hello to All :) Quote
GrisoM Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 When you save files use DXT1 | 1 bit alpha ( never use no alpha) OR DXT3 | ex.... alpha , to avoid the black lines/squares around the weapon try it , and tell me how did it go Use search , beacuse if this dosnt work there are arround 20 post whit this problem xD [ESP] usa esos canales cuando guardas el proyecto y se soluciona Quote
Urbanhack Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 mmm... tx for read and reply and.. sorry for make a new thread im new here ×.× well trying and trying i finaly can resolve the problem y just save the texture in DTX3 and painting the background 100% black i take this picture in google: and make it :) (not very good im new in it) now i have another problem... I can not make a texture bigger than the original texture, if bigger is the only way to the original texture and not the new texture edited if i make one more bigger cant see full texture, how i can make my texure aboun one new form :S i cant write very good sorry [ESP] mi problema es q si la textura dibujada sobre la otra textura es mas grande, lo q sobra no se ve solo se ve el dibujo q quepa dentro de la textura original por lo tanto mi textura tiene q ser mas chica q la textura base (original) como puedo hacer q se vea bien la forma de mi textura sin tener que achicarla por ejemplo hacer algo mas ancho la textura original alguna idea? Urbanhack Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 I got same problem even if i save it to DXT3 dunno what too do i just resolve it saving the texure in targa (tga) i dont use dds plugins and i not save in dds later import in unreal .tga texture remeber use alpha chanel to only see you model texture in white and background black Quote
