Nop,you just use the backup it add's the contacts itself and even if they didnt accept your request i THINK they still get spam messages!

As i remember, if you add them from a back-up to another account, you just have to add them manually.

Because i tried with my back-up from my main skype to another one and i am having a backup which got ~2800 skype contacts...tried a clownfish mass message, but no one got it tho :D and they are appearing like they are not added.

Yeah,i think you are right.... So it doesn't worth,because i've used it as you said also
