Choosing A Pack...

Question

Posted

Hey guys ;) I am new to this forum and I had a break from playing with L2J servers, I was just wondering, which FREE pack is the best for creating a server currently? By saying best i mean a pack that has the least bugs/glitches/exploits, u know what i mean ^^ would be best if it would be a clean one without custom modifications as I want to do everything on my own :)

sorry, my bad :D never used to play with stuff like this. Always used to just DL mysql, navicat, install a random l2j pack and start playing, and now i had to install like 10+ programs to run this "Eclipse" lol.... 21st century..

EDIT:

I am getting errors on all the bat's. :

does it mean that I didnt compile them or something? Dunno how to actually use eclipse

EDIT 2:

followed this guide:    http://acis.i-live.eu/index.php?topic=78.0

didnt compile when JAVA_HOME was set to jdk bin directory, changed to jdk's and it compiled successfully :) will check if it works now

EDIT 3: DUUUUUUUDE,

why do you have register-gs in 2 locations? + in build (where its working). solved.

You forget to ask about chronicle, but if it's about Interlude you wouldn't make a wrong choice with my own pack (aCis), which also fits your desire to create anything you want (no customs policy, I got less customs than L2J itself and care only about retail experience bugfixes).

well actually I am gonna add a lot of customs :D i just want a secure pack without those custom events and stuff, btw I still cant find the DL Link on the acis pack :D

Time to read guides, there are plenty of them (aCis forums > Tavern > Guides) or more general topics covering any pack on MxC shares section.

btw another question, I wont need different files like I used to need with other packs years ago, like gamesever.bat ?

All is supposed to be packed into the project you're downloading, if you read correctly guides you will figure it out yourself.

PS : Avoid to double post, edit your post.
