Help! Website's Connection To The Database Server Lineage?

By putting the right parameters into the right object ($con = new \PDO(...) or $con = new \mysqli(...)), and don't use the mysql_* functions (in case you don't like PDO)... this extension is deprecated and replaced by mysqli.

 

Google these two php extensions and you will find out how to connect. :lol:

after that tessa said go in navicat open your connection add a user with ip % (wildcard) or better your website IP add user/password and with this information stored in PDO connection (that i suggest) your site will be able to connect to your database, then you have to add priviledges to the user of what he will use
