The only recent rework that seems to have some potential.

She is a much more flexible champion. She can also jungle now, since she is no longer outshined by Yi. Plus, she is no longer forced into damage heavy builds, because she now has true damage and "damage out of nowhere mechanics" (100 % critical strike + vital spots) and team utility with CC/Heals.

The only recent rework that seems to have less* ponential in peoples eyes. Too much negetivity for this rework.

Imo i totally agree with the rest.

still op

still not* op

Now she became a mechanical champ imo.

-Still waiting for Taric rework.

It's Riot trying things. They've done with lots of now common mechanics, like getting 3 stacks in order to do something special (became common around late S2 and S3 with champions like Vi, Aatrox and Varus), gap closers in EVERY FUCKING CHAMPION (became popular in S2 to counter Ashe's dominance as an AD during S1, by abusing her biggest weakness, her lack of mobility.)

They're trying to break the fucking tank/heavy AP meta they built with the last 5.* patches.

yes and guess where that problem came from

% hp moves and infinite cc also randomly buffing ap items so mages can shit on everybody not only mid-late but all game

As le memer master (lol) already said, percentage and true damage encourages tanky playstyle. That's why Elise was so strong back in S3 despite building full tank. Same for champions like Irelia, Fizz and Shyvana.

What I do not understand is why people cry about this so called tanky meta now, like it has not been like that every season except from S4. Tanky champions were always favoured in the jungle and top lane. Especially jungle, since gold income is low and defensive/utility oriented builds were always the less risky way to go.

Also, about the mage meta... While I totally agree that the buff on AP items was completely unecessary and random, I do believe that they became popular because of the continuous AD assassin nerfs supported by the sudden rise of tanks*, since mages synergize really well with them.

*By saying tanks, I do not simply mean tanky champions. I mean actual tanks, whose role is not to apply damage, but to initiate and peel by disabling the enemies. (Nautilus, Gragas, Maokai, Sion or even Shen more recently.)
