Disallow Restart While Learning Skills

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi again,

Is there a code available for disallowing restarting or logging out while you are still learning skills (either from SubClass or Class Change) to avoid the stucking-skills exploit?

P.S. I use Interlude l2jserver.

Why you are using so outdated project from l2j team?

I am using this one:

http://svn.l2jserver.com/branches/L2_GameServer_it/

http://svn.l2jdp.com/branches/L2J_DataPack_IT/

I thought they were the latest Interlude revisions.

No. :(

Yes they are, but like from 200X year or so :D

Use some actual projects: aCis, hellas, frozen.

aCis is the most clean pack from those 3, this is a continuation of l2j ;)

Cannot really do that. I've done much work on L2JServer already. By the way, if this bug is indeed working (I am not sure), it certainly works in L2JHellas and L2JFrozen, because I've played in several servers using these two packs and they all had subclass delay and subclass unequip and some exploiters still managed to have multiclass. I still don't know how they did it, maybe they didn't do it by restarting.

But, now that I think of it, my request is probably useless. Because, even if there is a code not allowing restart while learning skills, you can still use the task manager to close L2.exe. LoL, sorry. I'll make sure I'll think better before asking for help :P

lol man, even if you did much .. then it's not worth it. Phx enchant for sure works there as well :D

You used svn so just create a patch of your changes and apply them on new project. Simple as that

I've inserted all the anti-phx java codes that can be found I think. And two of them are for the enchant.

So, except of changing the pack, how can a code that checks a character's skills be added? I mean, it would take years for someone to write manually exactly which skills a character can have, and it would be useless to check them according to their number because, what if someone has an extra - augment skill? If there is a limit in the skills they can learn they won't be able to have augment skills either.

Plus, this exploit works in both L2JHellas and L2JFrozen, I've seen it.

    • Hello it seems you can't receive PMs, it won't let me, do you use discord?
    • Hello after returning to lineage 2, I was wanting to start some local server development for a few friends and me to play around with but for some reason I'm having trouble after so many years to find a stable high five client. The clients I have found either have crash issue, many errors in the client log files or freeze after only a day or two of playing (autofarming for a day for example, you'll go to teleport after a farm session and the client freezes).   I've played a few High Five servers and it seems a lot of them have been able to optimize it to avoid these problems.  We are running multiple clients per PC so this does sound essential.   I've heard one major feature that is helping client stability is the ability to clear cache/memory without restarting the game or something along those lines.   So I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of obtaining a High Five client that is clean, optimized and decrypted to be able to add customs items etc. for a fair price.
