That's normal, the file is not yet ready to be opened by Unreal Engine.

You are missing 1 step before.

You need L2Tool

Link to download L2Tool:

http://bit.ly/1bkdwHP

1. Decrypt bt.utx

-> You get "bt-clear.utx"

2. Open L2Tool, browse your "bt-clear.utx" by clicking on the button ".." in L2Tool and then click the button "L2 -> UnrealED"

-> You get a new "bt-clear.utx" (this one, you can open with Unreal Engine)

I advice you to create a folder named "unreal engine utx" to save all your .utx openable by unrealED.

Otherwise you would just replace the files over and over..

Hope you will succeed

It is pretty straight forward once you have done it 2 or 3 times ;)

EDIT:

I sent you a pm to explain you the full process more in depth and clearly.

download a decrypter man as the previous post advices. then it is easy as hell. just decrypt and open :) also when you decrypt keep in mind to have the right decryption , usualy it is 121. Now edit your file , encrypt it again with an ecrypter ( i advice the elfocrash one ) and you are done !
